Davido is the ‘The Lion King’
Apparently, he is excluded from the Beyoncé’s The Lion King album but Davido is unarguably one of the prominent music stars in the world.
And, of course, a brand like Queen B(eyonce) might be the necessary ingredient to skyrocket Afrobeats into the ‘world mainstream’ that we could bring home the Grammy Awards through this trends of international collaborations. But, since Davido dropped his mega hits single, Dami duro, in 2011, he has been an unstoppable and hungrier lion that keeps dropping hot singles back-to-back including Skelewu, Omo Baba Olowo, Aye to mention a few. He is still representing Africa on a global stage.
Davido, 26, despite his wealthy background is well-known as a hustler, goal-getter, philanthropist and talented singer/songwriter.
Recently, OLAITAN GANIU (OG) visits Davido’s temple to interview his offical disc jockey, DJ Ecool and I was marveled to his collection of awards.
Here’s the interview with Davido’s DJ:
