#CONSISTENCY Day 1...day 2...day 3...day 30...day 90...etc. Think about it and be true to yourself are you consistent with the effort you put in each day? Do you really put in 💯 + effort everyday? Do you consistently revamp and push yourself day after day? If YES then that’s when you will achieve your goals. For 12 years I was not consistent I would say I am going to recover myself from anorexia/othrorexia then would slip right back into my old habits until 2 years ago I told myself “Jodie, if you want to live a thriving life you must be consistent with what your doing.” That day forward I have never looked back and have only loved forward. To say I am thriving now would be an understatement because I am more than thriving I am living happy and healthy and have achieved more than what I thought I ever would and this is just the beginning! My current fav sleep shirt 💀 . Honestly the scariest movie to me is Nightmare on Elm Street. Not bc of ya boy Freddy, but bc they weren’t allowed to fall asleep!! I’d be like see u soon Freddy bc sleep deprivation is no joke ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻 . Do you prioritize sleep? Ya should. Quality sleep: is where the majority of your muscle repair/growth takes place; reduces stress hormones in the body; reduces overeating the next day due to having better hunger cues; improves memory; improves exercise performance; I could list benefits all damn day. . Do you have problems falling asleep and/or staying asleep? Here are the top tips I give my clients and family members who worry me by only getting 5 hours a night: . 🌚Keep your room cool. You can get cooling foam to put under your mattress on Amazon for $30. It was a great investment for me bc I wake up in a POOL OF MY OWN SWEAT like 4x a week. #cute 🌚Reduce alcohol consumption. Drinking before bed can help you fall asleep, but then will vastly reduce the quality of your sleep + the amount of REM you get 🌚Try to not look at any screens 1-2 hours before sleep. This is hard as shit, I know. I fall asleep to the office every night. NOBODY IS PERFECT 🌚Reserve your bed for sleep ONLY. Well-sleep and sexy time. And that’s it. Don’t work in bed. Don’t play with your dog in bed. Don’t argue with your mom on the phone in bed. You want your brain to associate your bed with sleep, not work and other stress 🌚Reduce caffeine-duh 🌚Get exercise-also duh ;) . HOPE THIS HELPS. Sweet dreams 😴

⚡️ PULL-UP PROGRESS ⚡️ - June 2019 ⏪ May 2018 - It’s crazy how much your upper body strength can change in a year if you practice the same movement over and over 😂 - I’m SO glad I had the first video from back in 2018 so that I could see how far I’ve come!! - In the 2018 video, I had only been doing pull-ups for about a month, and I couldn’t go all the way down and come back up. With a LOT of practice, I’ve managed to increase my reps (only by two, pull-ups are hard 😂) and my range of motion 🥳 - Just goes to show ya that if you practice and commit to something, you WILL see change eventually 🤗

💥 SHOULDERS 💥 . aka my current FAV day 😩🙌🏼 . For the longest time I enjoyed working legs the most, and I think it’s because that’s where I could see the most muscle on my body! . . Over time I finally started to build muscle on my shoulders... (once I finally quit the five pound weights and moved up) and now it’s my favorite thing to train 🤗 mostly because I can stay in one spot for over half my workout 😂 . here’s some staple shoulder workouts that I wish I would’ve started using sooner, enjoy 🤪 . ▪️shoulder shrugs (try a heavier weight for these) . ▪️face pulls (doing these from the ground helps isolate the shoulder muscle) . ▪️upright rows . . ▪️lateral raises . . 💥disclaimer: I don’t typically count reps, I either aim for a high rep range or low rep range. For these, I aimed for a high rep range 😁
