My first visit to Chicago this week for a quick work trip and I'm in awe for a city that is blending two things I love most.... beautiful architecture + incredible food!! ..
I had little free time, but I did hop on a boat for the Architectural Boat Tour (it was awesome and truly helped me to see the city + understand it's history. If you visit this is a must!). I also hit up Millennium Park, Giant Silver Bean, The Wrigley Building + Buckingham Fountain. Last night I jumped into the Sear's (Willis) Tower with a coworker and took the 60 second ride to the 103rd floor to the glass box overlooking the city to watch the sunset! It was worth it... plus the couple in front of us got engaged - cute right?
Chicago eats?? I did not have enough time to even begin to eat at all the spots I would have liked, but my best meal was with Top Chef/Iron Chef @stephanieizard at her Cevicheria @cabrachicago ...my favorite spot to grab breakfast smoothies before work @theproteinbar ... Taco Tuesday spot @pinktaco ... Goodbye for now Chicago, but I will be back!! 🙌
