Seafood salad. Popular all over the world, In Japan: the dish is called ”Marine”
In the USA, popular the American way!
In Italy, past masters at creating this dish.
In Spain, experts at anything involving fish.
In France, to die for.
In Russia, shrouded in mystery and intrigue, but will be up there with the riders, not the runners.
This dish is none of the above, no allegiance to any country, restaurant or chef.
This is the Brock dish:
Green Lipped, succulent, juicy mussels protected by a breadcrumb mixture of chilli, garlic, rock salt, black pepper, and paprika. Langoustine slathered in homemade garlic and Cayenne pepper butter. Fresh Anchovies, little gem lettuce, red onion, vine ripened tomatoes, Asparagus, pickled carrot, cucumber and courgette (Zucchini for Americans)
If I had the Ingredients I could have served this to the ” lunching ladies” but Lady X’s stock limited my options. I have attempted to show her that by preparing veg and marinating/pickling them a meal can be assembled in minutes for busy, busy Queen Bees.
But the old saying you can take the horse to water( that's unfair to compare her to a horse, more like a Panther) so you can take a majestic, beautiful, dangerous Panther to water, but not make it drink!! Well on second thoughts, if it was Champagne maybe😂😂😂.
