I used Sadaf, but you can use whatever brand you’d like. Let sit for a few minutes, or if you have time, marinate overnight.⁠ .⁠ 2.While the meat is sitting, get your veggie/salad base ready. I started with a bag of broccoli slaw that I dressed with a tahini dressing. To make the dressing, I used 2 tablespoons tahini, juice from 1/2 lemon, sea salt, and 1 tsp freshly minced garlic. Mix everything together, then taste. You’ll have to add more tahini/lemon/salt based on your preference if you’d like. Then just toss with your broccoli slaw.⁠ .⁠ 3.Once I was ready to make the lamb, I got a pan ready on medium heat, tossed in 1 tablespoon of oil, and put the lamb in for about 5 minutes per side. These take about 10-15 minutes. Cook until they are no longer pink. Alternatively, you can grill these. Extra bonus points x 1000 if you use a charcoal grill. I didnt have time today.⁠ .⁠ 4.Then I started plating everything. I put the lamb on top of the broccoli slaw, added 1 sliced Persian cucumbers, some cherry tomatoes, and some herbs. General Physical Prepardeness is a preparatory phase of training that provides a balance of conditioning in strength, endurance, speed, mobility and other components of fitness. GPP is important post injury for re-ingraining efficient movement patterns while you restore a basic fitness level and is a necessity before hoisting a respectably loaded barbell again. I went for a walk/run this morning since I didn’t do it yesterday like I wanted to . I did 3.7 miles yay! I walked mile 1, ran miles 2 & 3, then walked the rest for a cool down. I’m incredibly proud that I did 2 miles nonstop!! . I was really focusing on my breathing as I started to run. I kept a comfortable pace, and all of mile 1 just kept thinking about how I was breathing. Then mile 2 came, I was feeling great! I decided around 2.3 mi that I’d try to pick up my pace a tad, BAD IDEA! I lost control of my breathing and by 2.5 I had to slow down a lot . For the last half mile I was just trying to finish, my breathing was way off 🤦🏻‍♀️. . Today I learned to take it easy and don’t rush the process. I have a lot of work to do to get where I want to be. But I can’t rush it. Although it was a tiny run today, it’s going to be a good reminder for when I get to the point where I’m running 5+ miles. . All in all i am so proud that I just ran 2 miles! Yay!! Happy Sunday!🤗

Left ventricle hypertrophy one of the cardiac output method of training . Longer slower training works to increase stroke volume primarily by increase the size of left ventricle of the heart . Think of balloon constantly filled with water , over time it will stretch and become bigger . The same thing happens with the heart when you fill it’s chamber with large volume of blood and force it to work for extended period of time . ( long distance work ) Through Training , the heart adapts to this stimulus by stretching and thus end up with a LARGER Left Ventricle cavity capable of pumping out more blood with each beat . This is also know as Eccentric cardiac hypertrophy. Exercise - Any low intensity, low pressure exercise such as jogging , bike ,swimming, etc will work for fine as long as heart rate is in steady rate 130 - 150 BPM . Update 👉👉👉 so, I’ve hit the 9stone mark. That’s a total of 1stone lost since the start of this year and three stone in total. I’m also 7lbs away from my personal target and then I can start to tone! There’s been a few NSVs too - yesterday I went on a date and didn’t wear a top that covered up my arms. I embraced them and was me. I’m now wearing size eight jeans all the time too!! Leg Day. This workout is the one often missed, or cut short, or sort of half done for some people. It’s a day I always dreaded, purely because of the pain, heat and, of course, the DOMs you get for the following days. Not this time round. When I was last working out properly, leg day was something I never quite got right, these pins that support my body have never been something to brag about. Here I am at 6 o’clock this morning making sure this time I do it right, despite not being able to support the heavy lifts just yet, I’m getting those reps in and working through the pain that follows. This sets the tone for the day, getting me focused on what I got to do.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ From there I move to my 45 to 60 minutes fasted walk which I've spoken about extensively on my page before of the numerous benefits including oxidation of stubborn body fat due to the lower intensity work and the insulin being in minimal amounts on the bloodstream; allowing the body to utilize that body fat it wouldn't otherwise prioritize as fuel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Then, much like everyone else, I go to work and grind it out. After work, I hit the gym. I currently follow a full body split which may turn back into a push/pull split soon. I go intense and I go with a purpose. Finally, I get home and unwind and get ready for bed, 8 to 9 hours before I repeat this whole thing again.
