Time management hasn't been my best forte in the past couple of weeks! With me jumping back on the Keto train and gym train after my surgery, plus my hubby going back to work and me having him be low-carb, since he can't fully do keto, and keeping our appointments/schedules together has been tough! I know once I get a groove of things, it'll be a cake walk. I just can't imagine if we had a kid or kids right now haha. Better practice handling the both of us and what we have going on while we can! I gotta make dinner, fold laundry, prep for the gym, prep us for work, and other stuff! For the average person, constantly tracking everything you eat in the quest to get a bit leaner, can be tedious and complicated, especially in our fast paced daily lives when we have other priorities. . . Nutrition is important and getting a good balance of protein, carbs and fats is essential. If tracking all three at once is too much, you can make it simpler by just focusing on your protein intake first and making sure you are hitting your daily needs. . . Most people don’t get near the amount of protein they need every day and this in itself can reduce lean mass, muscle strength and function. The body has to start breaking down muscle to get what it needs. Resting energy expenditure is also related to how much muscle mass you have so the more muscle, the higher the metabolism. . . When you start making sure you have protein at every meal, you will probably find you make better choices and find that constant cravings start to decrease. Protein helps regulate blood sugar so you’ll feel fuller for longer. Focus and concentration will also increase and you probably won’t need as many coffees and sugary pick me ups! . . Exact protein needs for each person varies due to many factors such as age, gender, muscle mass, activity level, physique goals and current state of health but the average rule of thumb is around 1g per kg of bodyweight. . Some snaps of today’s workout, started with some Deads (3X6 @ 100), Front Squats (3X6-8 @ 60), Nordic’s and Walking Lunges🔥. . For some reason I felt like a bundle of energy and decided it would be a great idea to die through a finisher. . TIP TOE LUNGES... I do this exercise just about anywhere, even in the kitchen waiting for the jug to boil for my green tea. This isn’t a ordinary lunge, it’s on your toes (not easy, unless you wear heels a lot) 10-20 each leg Mix with other exercises or repeat this 2-3 times. For me this exercise helps tone CALVES, GLUTES and QUADS. A lot of models are known for doing this exercise. This exercise I trust to help look for those long lengthy legs and is great strengthening for those high heel shoes. If you try this exercise. DM me and let me know what you think of it 💋
