I'm sure my instagram page looks really boring to so many of you and some of you might unfollow me because of all the pics I've been posting in the last few months but this is me. I started this amazing "journey" months ago and I have to say that the gym became my big passion. It changed my mood, my body, my mind and the way I see every single thing. Only a few people will understand what I'm talking about. I'm not crazy.. Or maybe I am but I'm just crazy about the gym. Here's today's workout: RB - resistance band on mid thigh BB - barbell DL - deadlift A and B means superset 1a. Cable RB squats 1b. Cable RB duckwalks I like using the double D handle 2a. BB DL 2b. Elevated cable kickbacks 3a. RB BB hip thrusts 3b. RB BB kneeling squats 4a. RB hack machine kickbacks 4b. Hack machine calf raise holds 5a. RB standing rising abduction 5b. Hip abduction machine holds I focused on very slow controlled movement today's for my lower body workout because I've been noticing that with 3 lower body days a week, my hip's starting to feel it. They're flexing&releasing at slightly different rates. After my lower body workouts, I just want to go home and eat. 💗MY BATTLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS 💗 . When I was 3 years old I was diagnosed with a rare condition called Selective Mutism for which I was refused treatment (back in the 90s they just thought it was something made up 🤷🏻‍♀️ & I was told I was stubborn) I suffered over a decade of emotional abuse & discrimination & had to read books & search for how to get rid of the Selective Mutism, after 5 years of setting myself goals I finally did it at age 18. When I was 14 years old I was diagnosed with depression for which I would go onto battle on & off for the next 12 years. I was 25 when I was told I had PTSD. . But I’ve never let that stop me in the long term. Sure I’ve had weeks where my biggest success was managing to wash my hair, but each day I took it one step at a time. Im fortunate that my coaching business gives me the flexibility to build a income while battling all of the above 🔺I’m fortunate that I get to be a coach & do something I love helping others take control of their lives! I get to not only help people get in shape but I get to show people how to earn money while doing it. . Sure some people are quick to judge & might think coaching is a scam (based on what I don’t know 😂) but for me coaching was a lifeline. It gave me hope when I had none. It gave me a focus & it brought me to the most amazing team of supportive & uplifting people. . If you’ve not joined us yet then I don’t know what you’re waiting for 😂
