Did a 10 min EMOM of hang clean and jerks. It was supposed to be at our 85% but I wasn’t motivated to do 140# pounds before tackling 15.4 in the workout 🤦🏽‍♀️ so this is only 85# lol. I wish I would have gotten a video of the workout bc for once I made the deficit on a handstand push up!!!! Yup I did 3 handstand push ups with only 1 mat 😃 so proud of that. I have come a long way. A 3 part video of most of today's work! I always like to film the heavy stuff. This time I added a little something I do for warming up.. ______ Now before this I did lower back extensions because I really struggle with arching my lower back, and I found that warming it up properly definately helps keeping it straight during deadlifts, so I fully recommend it if you're struggling with lower back strength. Anyway, this warm up is for the shoulders. Not necessary on deadlifts, but i trained shoulders today as well, and it's always nice to loosen them up a little. ______ First variation is common. The second one I kinda came up with myself as I tried to make it unilateral.😂 Today kicked ass! Loved this work-out! Hip thrusts are hands down the BEST exercise to grow your glutes ladies and gentlemen. Do them often! 🔥 🍑

Fitness is more than lifting weights at the gym 👇🏼 - - - Don’t get me wrong, I love to lift weights at the gym. If you didn’t know, I experimented in powerlifting around two years ago (fun times 🤪) and after competing once realized that its not something I loved and that’s okay. You don’t have to only lift weights to be into fitness. I would’ve never thought I would find myself going to yoga classes but I have actually really enjoyed going because it challenges me mentally and physically. It’s something that was hard for me to go to at first because I wasn’t “good at it.” Find your balance of what fitness means to you. That could be going on a daily walk, going to yoga, running marathons, going to classes, whatever it may be! It’s not about what you do but it’s about how it makes you feel and what you enjoy. - - - I encourage you to go out and try something you aren’t use to. Tu nao emagrece, pq não sabe o que comer para emagrecer, ou porque sabe mas não faz? A grande maioria vai me dar a resposta 2. Saber o que comer, a gente sabe. Difícil é saber nao comer! Resistir! Acreditar! Nosso corpo só faz o que nossa mente comanda. E eu vou trabalhar contigo é exatamente aí! Quando se fala em emagrecer, qual a associação que essa palavra traz? FOME. Se minha dieta não me fizer passar fome, é porque tá errada. Assim sendo, como o mínimo de calorias por dia e vou emagrecer. Nao é esse o pensamento? É. Mas tá errado. Irá emagrecer pq a conta do que consome e o que ingere irá fechar. Mas sempre que inserir algo mínimo de alimentos, irá ganhar peso. Porque isso? Pq o metabolismo não funciona mais corretamente. Existem vários métodos para avaliar a composição corporal de um individuo. Métodos diretos (totalmente precisos, porém totalmente inviáveis por serem invasivos), indiretos (muito precisos, porém caros!) e duplamente indiretos (precisos e mais acessíveis). A Bioimpedância (foto) é um método duplamente indireto. Os aparelhos de bioimpedância avaliam a porcentagem de gordura, músculo, ossos e água do corpo através de condução elétrica que passa pelo corpo através de placas de metal conectadas ao corpo. Essa corrente passa facilmente pela água e, por isso, tecidos muito hidratados, como músculos, deixam a corrente passar rapidamente enquanto a gordura e ossos possuem pouca água e, dessa forma, a corrente tem maior dificuldade em passar. Assim a diferença entre a resistência da gordura, em deixar a corrente passar, e a velocidade com que ela passa em tecidos como os músculos, por exemplo, permite que o aparelho calcule o valor que indica a quantidade de massa magra, gordura e água. 💕My goal is to do 15 chin ups and 15 dips in a row. I can do 10 now😊🌀💕 . .Chin ups and dips are basic movements and certainly important bodyweight exercises for building upper body. . . You can do them in many variations, assisted or weighted, on seperate days or you can superset them. . . The choice is yours, depending on your individual program. . . Don't forget that the key is to do what works on you and only you💪💕 . Tips 📍Make sure you pull up until your chest is totally to the bar and give your self full extension/stretch at the bottom. 📍 Proper Dip form is key to avoid shoulder and chest pain. Don’t let your shoulders roll forward. Don’t shrug them either. Keep your shoulders back and down. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone 💕 - let’s do a throwback because I have to keep myself distracted lol my eyes can’t be looking at the road ( I’m currently going on an adventure) my husband driving gets me car sick 😷 the way he drive is like being on a movie from fast and furious 😂 - anyway can’t believe that I’ve been on this fitness journey for two years now, & it’s been a roller coaster ride. 😩 also it’s going to be a year since I got my tummy tuck , & I’m so glad that I have managed to keep my weight stable . I think that’s one of hardest because I’m lifting weights & the first thing on my mind is “oh I’m going to gain weight “ but surprisingly I haven’t which is good I guess. 🤷🏽‍♀️ - I remember back than I would have in my closet is just black clothing to hide the way I look . I wasn’t comfortable with my own body . & now I’m so confident in different colors of leggings / crop tops etc...I’m so proud of how far I came .
