Getting lean or leaner definitely does wonders for self body confidence, self esteem, performance and health in general for the majority of people and can certainly help make you feel better about yourself and ultimately happier... However sometimes the wrong mindset can lead you to the wrong pathway. .
By this I mean that, it's likely that there will be a point where lower body fat will affect your quality of life. Perhaps not the result you were looking for.
Super low body fat achievement and maintenance requires and demands from you a great deal amount of sacrifice and dedication. The lower you want to go there will be more FOOD FOCUS, more LETHARGY, less SOCIAL INTERACTION/EVENTS, LOWER LIBIDO, REDUCED PERFORMANCE, and ultimately DISORDERED EATING. .
Unless you are doing this for a specific purpose and just for a period that you can sustain, then it isn't worth sacrificing your happiness and quality of life if you can achieve these things with a little extra body fat and still look/feel great. .
Most people usually have to go through both extremes to find that happy medium so don't beat yourself up if you are currently either side. I believe there is a place where you can be content with your body and have a life too. It just might take a while to get there.
👉Final thoughts, IF YOU ACHIEVED THAT GOAL,. HOW YOUR LIFE WILL ACTUALLY CHANGE HOW WILL YOU BE BETTER, HAPPIER, FULFILLED ??
If you can honestly answer that question, once you lose 10 pounds, will your life be better?
If so, then go for it
