That’s my amazing trainer @lupes_fitness , every time I look at that picture is a reminder that hard work pays off! That includes sacrifices such as not going out to a bar all the time because you think 🤔 💭 “ well if I waste between $60-$100 on just drinks 🍷 why not use that for my meal prep?”. 🌸Essential Oils for an Anxious Pup🌸 I honestly don’t know what I would have done without essential oils our first night with Nala 🐕 She came from a shelter & was def not used to city life in the slightest! She was used to having noise all around her & now she was in a quiet apartment. As soon as we brought her home and we let her explore, I immediately started diffusing Lavender around the entire apartment! I wanted to create a welcoming and calm environment for her, so she knew she was safe and secure. As soon as I started diffusing the oils by her bed she went up to it and started sniffing— It was the cutest thing! Our very first night with her I was fully prepared to be up every few hours and was planning on sleeping next to her crate, but I didn’t have to do any of that! I truly believe that the oils did the trick and helped her stay calm! She slept through the night her very first night at home and I was completely shocked!! 🤗 If you have an anxious pup, I cannot recommend using essential oils enough! It’s helped Nala and us so much so far & I can tell she loves them just as much as we do! 💗

Just. Start. That is what I did. For so long I talked myself out of going into the weight room, going to boutique fitness classes, trying new exercises. Because I was too concerned with what other people would think of the fat girl. Why is she in the gym? Why is she in the weight room? Why is she in this class? This journey has taught me to come all the way out of my comfort zone to try new exercises, new classes, new foods, meet new people as passionate about working out as I am and more. I’m so happy that I just started - I have discovered strength, both physical and mental, that I never knew I had. So please, whatever you want to do - exercise, write a book, host a retreat, become a trainer, move to a different part of the country, travel alone - JUST START. You will never regret it!

A - To make a long story short, it starts with a conversation. Either a brand approaches me or I approach them and pitch a campaign idea. If the campaign aligns with both brands, we talk deliverables (how many posts will be included in this collaboration, the timeline, and any required tags/ hashtags/ mentions. Etc). After that we negotiate a price and draft a contract outlining everything previously agreed upon. Once that is done, the product is shipped, shot and posted! 💫 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2- Q- How do you filter who you work with ? A- This is the easiest and the hardest part because while I want to work with everyone that’s impossible. I only work with brands I believe in and love. Beach day with the tribe! ⁣ ⁣ 5 kids. 8 & under. Holy mac y’all. ⁣ ⁣ The biggest struggle with taking 5 kids to the beach isn’t the vast amount of small children. Instead it’s knowing their needs and wants and helping them cope throughout the day with their struggles. ⁣ ⁣ If you know anything about me at all you know I’m OBSESSED NEXT LEVEL with the beach. I’m talking crazy lady who would trade everything she owned for a one room shack on the beach type of obsessed. ⁣ ⁣ Buuttttt the past year for us has been a struggle. When we first moved to FL last September we went to the beach for Jackson’s birthday. It was a gorgeous day until it wasn’t. A massive out of nowhere storm came through and took away tent after tent, lightening struck everywhere and Emmett had a complete and utter meltdown. Screaming crying, uncontrollable breathing, eyes like a deer in headlights. ⁣ ⁣ Since that day EVERY SINGLE TIME we go or heck, even attempt to go, he starts to have a massive panic attack. ⁣ ⁣ Most days we end up not going to try and avoid the meltdown but it’s gotten to the point where I know it’s time to help him through this in the best way I know how love, patience, kindness and Jesus. ⁣ ⁣ So today, after multiple fits from him we packed up anyway. He kept saying negative comments OVER & OVER & OVER until we arrived. Once we arrived he started freaking out. Shallow breathing & the deer in headlights eyes on top of clinging to my leg. ⁣ ⁣ Instead of getting angry or frustrated (like I can so easily do) I explained to him for the 1,492,927 time how storms work. We checked the weather radar (per usual) and walked through how things would go if a storm were to hit. After we were done talking he was a little better but not much. ⁣ ⁣ “Em, you know what?”⁣ ⁣ “What?”⁣ ⁣ “God created the Earth. He also created the storms. He also created you and me. He is the creator and the protector. He is the almighty. He will keep us safe. Wanna pray about it?”⁣ ⁣ “Yes please.”⁣ ⁣ After we prayed Emmett refused to play for another 15 minutes but soon after joined us in the water. This is HUGE progression from our precious beach visits in the past year. ⁣ ⁣ <>

Walking Lunges w Olympic Plate ⠀ This can also be done with a Barbell or Dumbbells, I prefer the closer grip the plate as it really challenges my shoulders as well. ⠀ Benefit to holding a weight above your centre of mass versus holding weights by your side or having weights on your shoulders is purely balance and control, if you need to improve your balance and control raise your arms up and hold something with weight. ⠀ Also good for posture improvement.
