I have to listen to this album everyday, it humbles me a little every time I hear it...perhaps if more of this was on radio, television, and in the clubs...our youth wouldn’t be walking around like zombies...system full of pills because music makes all these “new age” drugs that are kids or overdosing off, sound cool. #TransformationTuesday Meet our SelfCare achiever @Arorashreyav Shreya Arora, 21 years old. Against all the odds, she managed to break through her unhealthy routine, lose 15 kgs in just 8.5 months and adopt a healthy lifestyle. Read her transformation journey in her own words: “Growing up, I always tried to incorporate some kind of activity in my daily routine: An hour of swimming before school, walking home from classes, or simply skipping for half an hour when I had exams. However, as I moved out of home for college, the workload increased, and the need to stay at the top of the class took over the need to stay fit. It got to a point where I'd skip two meals a day, and end up famished in the evening, eating junk food that was high in sugar and fat almost every day. The situation worsened when I moved abroad for five months and gained 9 kilos by the time I returned. I'd try diets but could never sustain them. It was always easier to fall back on a pizza and Netflix to destress rather than going for a walk. Finally, a friend suggested Selfcare's plan, which began with me listing down what I ate on a daily basis. The plan they gave me was based on my lifestyle and what meals I could realistically prep every day. Despite the team being extremely supportive, the first week was a shock. The physical withdrawal was almost as strong as the mental withdrawal. But when I stepped on the scale after a week, I saw I'd lost 2.5 kilos. After that, there was no looking back. I lost 10 kilos in 4 months, and a huge part of the credit goes to the Self Care team, who kept track and adjusted my plan to accommodate my living away from home and not being able to visit the centre. They stuck through a plateau of almost a month- the last 5 kilos were the hardest to lose. But more than anything, my journey with them has been a wake-up call. I realised that the time I was 'saving' by skipping my workouts and regular meals to complete assignments was a false economy because it resulted in a slew of health complications and was not sustainable. I still have a long way to go, but I'm now much more confident about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and not falling back into my old habits.”

I've been up for awhile and was itching to get a workout in early, but wasn't really feeling the gym at all. That's the beauty of knowing you can have the same impact when training from home🙌🏼🔥 15 minutes. That's all the time I needed to get a great session in and really kick my day off right☀️ . Happy B-D 2Me♥️ We do not like to grow up ... On my 30 birthday I realized that I would not stay young forever..and it was quite stressful ... But.... Today I feel much better in life, more experience that brings with it a sense of control ... more feminine feeling, more connected and a little more accurate ....
