Have you ever been a bit curious as to what it entails when I talk about the Arbonne 30? All shakes, no real food? NOPE! You get to eat real, clean foods! Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by stressed. 🙋🏻‍♀️ . I tend to add too many things to my plate all at once and then struggle to accomplish everything. I hate being bored and I am a total work horse. I like to be active mentally and physically so during times of slowness in life I load my life up with things to do. This is something I like about myself, but also something that can cause some stress later on. . I’ve learned to take it easy and remind myself, things might be slow now but they never stay slow for long. I am learning to not bite off more than I can chew. I am so blessed to be in school, interning at a wonderful foundation, teaching swim lessons and kicking ass in the gym. Is it busy? HELL YES. But I always find a way to get it done. If that means missing the Gym two days in a row, so be it! . I have also found that punishing myself for things like not going to the gym or hanging out with friends. I know that the people who love me will understand when I need to take some self care time. I also know two days of not going to the gym will not set me back. I cut back on some of those things when I feel like I am drowning and guess what? It feels good to not have to stress about being stressed! Remember, you don’t need to add more! Sometimes, less is more and less is good!

A year ago I started strength training.🏋️‍♀️ I gave up fast food. 🙅‍♀️I try to eat as healthy as possible and drink water all the time, except for my occasional cocacola (yes I'm working on that too lol)🤷‍♀️ I had injuries last year that threw me off my routine but I jumped back in the gym.🏃‍♀️ I didnt workout for more than a month because I was depressed but guess what, I jumped back in the gym. 🏃‍♀️Life happens, I get it. Easy evening jog before heading to train a client. Haven’t ran in 2 weeks but it felt good to be back! I have BIG goals for my next training program and this time I’m going to do it right! It’s so important to listen to your body and not push it! Cardio (hardio) and abs today. My goal for the next 3 weeks is to be implementing two days of HIIT per week along with my weightlifting. THIRD ATTEMPT 😂😅 Woah can i say prep brain is already getting to me? LMFAO.. This does not happen over night... months between each photo! October 2018- February 2019 23 pound difference between these photos. During this time i got my “offseason body” under control and guidance from coach @swollen_pitbull after months off from my previous show. Here’s that back day I promised 🦋 - So I actually wasn’t going to post the video of me doing pull ups initially because my form sucks I got a lot less than I can do. BUT I did- because why not? AND I set it as the first video you see. Not all my lifts are perfect, not all days can I pull off 10 pull ups, and not all days is everything going to go smoothly. here’s some snippets from my quad/calve work today. I was sore before I even left the gym, so I chugged my protein, but I’m scared about how I’ll feel on Thurs 🆘 👵🏼 . I try to work my calves pretty hard because those chicken legs are somethin fierce. watch my feet as I switch up my angles to work the whole muscle. for video sake, I did them right in a row, but I normally do 10 at each angle and BABY they’re burnin when you get to 30 . Next post is just a lightweight squat that I superset with the calves. 4 sets of 12 right after each calves set . last but not least, never underestimate the power of a jump squat! I feel like my ❤️ is going to explode by the time I’m done. I like using the TRX bands just for more security and it helps dip a lot lower when I come down. Left: 5 weeks out from Alphalete Summer Shredding this past June 2018. ~127 lbs. eating 1600 calories. . Right: December 27 (yes even after eating whatever during christmas) 2 months into bulking with my coach. 129 lbs. eating 2200 calories. . Crazy what consistency, building up your metabolism, and eating MORE can do for your body. Taking the time to work on my metabolism off season, sahving my quads down through high volume leg training, and consistency - not having cheat days or weekends, tracking my weekend outings and staying on track = the difference between the two physiques.
