As a homeschooling family, you often hear and talk about "rhythms." More, or less, it's a schedule that is both daily and seasonal in nature. For years I've had an "ideal situation" that I would idolize but frankly, ... I essentially have ADD. I'm the WORST about consistency. Routine. And schedule. However, I adore celebrating our heritage and creating traditions like Sunday supper. We have missed a lot of holiday celebrations and lost touch of many of our rhythms, but lately, Sunday supper has made a come back in the form of Fried chicken . My husband's favorite meals are country fried steak and my "top secret" fried chicken sandwiches. Both recipes utilize no shortage of fresh cracked organic black pepper. I buy it in bulk from a popular online herbal market. I grind it fresh in an old burr grinder. Good seasoning is the spice of life, and there is no substitute to strong and simple flavor.
