Some people believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found; it is the small, everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness & love. 🌅 #Sunset #Sunsets #SunSetting #SunRise #SunRises #CapturingBritain #BritishSummer #GoOutdoors #British #LikeForLikes #Follow #BritishHeritage #GreatBritain #ExploreEngland #Faith #Love #Picturesque #LoveNature #Shoreline #Seaside #Peaceful #InstaMood #Ocean #EnglishVillage #Beautiful #SaveOurOcean #Igers #Essex #InstaGood #BritishSeaside

We are really excited to have finalised the details of our upcoming trip to England in November. We are utterly happy because we are spending time with friends both in London and Bristol. This is why we're celebrating with a series of photos from our last trip to Bristol in July 2018. Enjoy!

An image from last year when I had (finally) the time to explore the Cornish coast, at least for a week. This colourful sunset at Duckpool Beach is the very last image I took, before heading back to London.

Taken at Havant in Hampshire near Portsmouth. Low tide on the quay side early morning. You'd be forgiven to think the green stuff is grass but its not, it's actually seaweed left behind at low tide. The old water mill in the background made for a nice backdrop. Why is NYC called the Big Apple? I grew up 40 minutes outside NYC and had my first internship at 16 in the city... Yet, I still don't know how NYC got this nickname. I guess I was never curious enough to Google the answer. ⁣ ⁣ While I was in Manchester, there was no way I was leaving the city without understanding why there were bees everywhere. One afternoon I decided to walk around and take random snaps of all the bees I found. I found bees on street art, people's skin (tattoos), trash cans, decorations in cafes, stickers...honestly, I couldn't go anywhere without seeing a bee.⁣ ⁣ So why is the bee such a prominent symbol for Manchester? ⁣ ⁣ The bee represents the working bee and signifies Manchester's hardworking past in the industrial revolution. The bee has remained a symbol of the city and has evolved to mean more. Following the Manchester arena shooting (w. Ariana Grande) the working bee symbolized Unity. There was a tribute mural with 22 bees, signifying the 22 innocent people who lost their lives. ⁣ ⁣ I already liked Manchester, but I also approve of the city's symbol - hard workers and defiance in hard times. ⁣ ⁣ Now, can anyone tell me the meaning of the NYC apple? Or mention any other interesting symbols from other cities?⁣ ⁣ P.S - this first photo is my best impression of imitating a bee. ⁣ ⁣ #followthefro #followthefroManchester #followthefroUK ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #teamkaptainkenny #tkkengland #tkkuk #manchester #manchesterfinest #manchesterbee #exploremanchester #travelmanchester #discovermanchester #exploreengland #travelengland #blacktravelfeed #blacktraveljourney #travelnoire #wetraveltoo #passionpassport #darlingescapes #starttheadventure #soultravel #iamtb #sidewalkerdaily #femaletravelbloggers #blacktravelbloggers

Today we visited the Avebury stones for our last day!!😢😢😢 The fluffy clouds and mild but cool weather were perfect!! Walking among the sheep and standing stones was a fun way to finish our amazing trip! I’m so thankful that we were able to do this trip with my parents! We all had a great time. (I’m speaking for Mr W as well! 🤪) Tonight we will revisit @thesalutationinn for one last deeelish pub dinner! I can’t wait!! Tomorrow will be “the day that never ends.” We’ve 3 hours to Gatwick, wait, fly 8 hours, drive 3 hours home. Should get home around 11pm Indiana time/ 3 am England time! Ugh!! . . . . #hoosieronthemove #aveburystones #aveburystonecircle #aveburyhenge #wiltshirecountryside #discoverengland #discoverearth #exploreengland #unlimitedengland #travelengland #thisprettyengland #thisisengland #greatbritainroadtrip #discovercotswolds #cotswoldsuk #visitcotswolds #druidstone #beautifulbritain #beautifulplacesinuk #amazingearth #standingstones

The symbol of Bristol, the city's most recognisable structure - Clifton Suspension Bridge is a stunning piece of engineering. . Back in 2010 when I visited Bristol I was mesmerised with this architectural marvel and since then I always wanted to shoot a long exposure shot of the bridge. Swipe 👉🏼 to see how it looks in the daylight. I got an opportunity to go back to Bristol a few weeks back. So this time I made sure to take my camera with me to complete this long pending wish. . Do you have any long pending wish like this? . . . . . #movewithdanny #cliftonsuspensionbridge #bristol_lens #bristoluk #beautifulbritain #uk_greatshots #exploreengland
