Elders dressed in a traditional Kurdish cloth hanging out in a rural area. Such type of cloth mostly are worn in the Sorani parts of Kurdistan, especially in the mountainous areas of Hawraman. The vest like over top which is called #Faranji with two extensions on the shoulders are made of pressed sheep wool. This type is mostly used for less severe weather by ordinary people. But nowadays, some people use it in Kurdish events and anniversaries like New Year #Newroz and other celebrations as s symbol of Kurdish dress. Seen in #Hawraman , #Kurdistan , #Iran. you know what's ironic? a couple of weeks ago i finished an article on the art of breathing. and now i find myself, for the second time this year (!), out of breath. coughing, gasping, trying to guide my lungs towards a stable rhythm of inflating and deflating. i am so sick of being sick, ugh. if you have some spare ones, send some good thoughts my way so i can become just as strong as these cute sturdy cactuses 🌵💕 • • #theweekoninstagram #acolorstory #plantladylife #floralstories #outofthephone #samsungdeutschland #subjectivelyobjective #noicemag #rsa_ladies #everydayeverywhere #somewheremagazine #underthefloralspell #peoplescreatives #agameoftones #transfer_visions #lensculture #verybusymag #rsa_ladies #everydayeverywhere #momentsofmine #mytinyatlas #alliseeispretty #pursuepretty #simpleandstill #theartofslowliving #theprintswap

InFrame: @simonavlogs Back in February I attended an openshoot event by LimitlessTeam and had a chance to know their models. Simona was very interesting coz she got that happy go lucky/bubbly and superb energy on the set. Take not that she is not just a model but a vlogger too - you can check her channel @ youtube.com/simonavlogs Very interesting and amazing content I should say.

The yellow Crocs man at Jalan Petaling, in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown on my last souvenir tour. It is known of its daily flea market packed with stalls full of imitation goods. Quality is often an issue and you can and must bargain to get the best deals as the prices are always higher 25-35% what they truly worth. I could actually bargain the price of my Fjallraven 50%, pretty good value for 10 dollars, the vietnamese vendor in Saigon asked me if he allowed to touch my original Kanken to compare with the fake hahh! #kualalumpur #chinatown #jalanpetaling #streetphotography #documentaryphotography #everydaysoutheastasia #everydayeverywhere #myfeatureshoot #fujixseries #streetfinder #spi_collective #malaysia #kualalumpurstreetphotography

Since I didn't really take the time to gather my things the past week, and my hands are too tired to do laundry yesterday (or the past few days for that matter), I am now struggling to find all the stuff I need. So I decided to just take a last minute shopping to save myself from the hassle. I realized I had not really been updating my wardrobe for the last three months and all I have really are pretty much some basic tees and dri-fit shirts. Hopefully these are enough along with the ones Nanay propped at the cabinet the other week before their flight.

I travelled to four countries in Southeast Asia with my friends to spend the public holidays last month. Along with the journey of course were great experiences. I could talk about the Krama weaving for one. We just got done roaming around the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and decided to go to UCC so I can have my daily dose of caffeine. Then we walked around some more and got to a park and saw these kids running in circles, laughing, and playing folk games that seemed unfamiliar to us. We were urged by the kids to play with them together with some other foreigners, but the games involved dancing so I opted not to join in :P Then we went to the pagoda where the weaving materials were placed. We basically got invited the minute we went to their registration desk. We were given a mini passport containing all the details of the event and then proceeded to the elders who taught us about the weaving process, hands-on and one on one. What's really cool about this experience was they welcomed both locals and tourists to join and contribute on their attempt to weave a thousand-meter Krama which is their traditional scarf, spearheaded by @gogocambodia . What a great way to introduce their culture, right? Also this place was overflowing with interaction, locals and tourists dancing together, talking to each other, and eating on the side of the park. Hope they make it to the Guinness Book of World Records! By the way, it's a six-month-long event so if they still hadn't made it to a thousand, maybe you can join and have some fun too :) You can visit gogocambodia.asia/en/ to know more about it if you want.
