Love this post from my friend Lindsay for a bit of diffuser vs candle GOODNESS 👏👏👏
I’m just gonna leave this right here for those who tell me oils are expensive so you burn candles instead to make your home smell like a fall explosion. 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
🎃 Cinnamon Fragrance Candle- Yankee Candle costs about $32.99 for a candle with 25-hour burn time.
🍁 5mL bottle of Young Living Cinnamon Bark Essential oil = $24.75 for 450 hours of diffusion time. Seriously. 2 drops is all you need 💧💧
And that’s just a very simple example since cinnamon is so popular during the fall. I have endless diffuser recipes!
To get the “burn time” you’d get from the $160 Young Living premium starter kit with 11 oils and a diffuser (that even has a candle light flicker mode) you would need to spend $1,947 on fragrance store-bought candles. That’s using 2 drops...use 4 drops each time you diffuse, $973.50 on candles...6 drops...$649 on candles...you see what I mean! Wut 😳
We used to be candle-aholics, especially in the fall months, but then we learned of just how toxic those yummy smelling fall candles can be. Liver tumors, brain & kidney damage, cancer, asthma, infertility, loss of libido... not just for you in the short term, but setting up your kids for this stuff throughout their lives by the toxin load in your home.
"Whatever. I totally grew up with candles and bleach and all these things you talk about and I'm FINE"
...but are we? food allergies, reproductive issues, infertility, asthma, eczema, and countless other issues are considered COMMONPLACE now and "NORMAL"... if that's normal, forget it. I don't want to be normal at ALL. 🤷🏽♀️

If you wouldn’t light a cigarette in your home, why would you light a candle? There IS a better way that has therapeutic benefits and it’s kinda a no brainer 🎃🧡🍁
