As a little girl I loved going to pick honeysuckles in my grandparents’ backyard. I used to savor the tiny drop of nectar I would find inside every bloom. At that moment life couldn’t be any sweeter. When I recently discovered honeysuckles growing in a friend’s backyard, I immediately knew I wanted to incorporate them in my next batch of strawberry jam. The bright, tart flavor of the strawberries complimented the sweet, floral finish of the honeysuckle.
