Just as in travel, reading books for self-discovery can shift our perspective, open our eyes to new worldviews, inspire us to make change and perhaps most importantly, encourage a growth mindset that we can live our lives by every day.⠀ ↝⠀ Whether you’re looking for a new personal development book to read on a transformational trip, a DIY personal retreat or just at home in bed, I've listed my tried-and-true favorites on the blog for your next inspirational read. #TransformationTuesday 😀... . 📸Jennifer is proof that women over 40 can lose their menopause belly without starvation diets or hours of exercise… . 👙 She’s well on her way to her goals and so far has lost 9 lbs and 7 inches💥… . ⭐️Her comment is ‘I can’t believe how much I’m eating’… . ❌You see the trouble with many women is that you are UNDER FED so we need to repair your metabolism a little before weight loss can occur… . ❌Your body has become MORE efficient by down regulating your metabolic in an effort to survive… . ❌More strict dieting will NOT work… . ✅The transformation process can be simple and relatively painless… . 🔅Let me explain a little of what Jennifer’s journey looks like… . 📲We use My Fitness Pal to log food so I can virtually be by her side (even though I’m not physically present)… . I look 👀 at her food log and make suggestions as to what foods she should continue to eat, I make recommendations for swaps, food quantity and timing of food... . 📝I provide a macro profile designed specifically for her based on her health parameters and goals so she has a target 🎯 to shoot for daily… . ☎️We talk every 7-10 days. She has unlimited text/email support if she has a question… . 💥We discuss NON-SCALE victories, hunger levels and other biofeed back to access progress rather than JUST the scale to judge progress… . My goal for her is to boost ⬆️ her metabolism so that she is losing ⬇️ weight eating more ⬆️ food… . 💪🏻💥Her results are amplified when she exercises using all my best fitness programming as a bonus…. . 🙂She feels a sense of community in my private coaching group on Facebook… . ✔️She continues to check in with me and continues to do the happy dance 💃🏼with finding a LIVABLE, SUSTAINABLE weight loss solution… . 😀 I’m SO happy to be able to help her and other women who are frustrated 😡with their inability to lose weight and keep it off… . 👉🏻If this sounds like you and you want to have more of a ‘Jennifer’ experience, 🤳🏻DM me… . . . #getacoach #dosomethingdifferent #eatmore #loseyourmenopausebelly #transformation #weightlosstransformation #weightlossjourney #fitover40 #weightloss #healthyweightloss #healthylifestyle #menopause
You'll never get something different by doing the things you've always done! It's going to be uncomfortable at first. But when you get comfortable with being uncomfortable... that's where the magic happens! 🙌
It's never too late to sign up for the #ddadosomethingdifferentchallenge ! We will do our first draw this FRIDAY! Here's what some people have already been up to: Joined a writing class Started a new workout Kept swimming in the lake ... like EVERY DAY!!! Went paintball shooting Bought the fancy pair of glasses instead of the usual style As I share in the DSD Guide, this wasn't a well thought out strategy. It was just an idea that came to me, while on the floor, desperately stuck in my stuff, right after my world had fallen apart. I had no idea the profound impact it would have on how I experience my life, the shifts that have happened and the results that have come from choosing to show up and do something different time and again. And because of this, I have made this a non-negotiable commitment to myself – forever. This idea has evolved over the last few years. Sometimes it’s not just about doing something different but doing something differently. I’ve shared this idea with friends and clients who’ve gone on to do some incredible things and do some things incredibly different that have expanded their experience of what is truly possible. Which is why I want to invite you to join this challenge. All the details are in the link in my bio. You can opt in or there's an option NOT to opt in and still download the guide. It's super easy. Sign up. Tag a friend. Share with your people. And do a whole lot more living - OFFLINE this fall!

Our Director of Operations, Amy, also helps out on our Marine program when needed! She is sessile survey ready so our sessile focused Marine Volunteers often get the chance to head out on dives with her! • 🌍: Nosy Komba, Madagascar. 📷: @kelly97king • #MadagascarVolunteer #MRCI #VolunteerPrograms
If you're wishing away your weeks awaiting your next holiday or weekend break... it's time to think seriously about making a change. Life is meant to be enjoyed and not just endured. Life is too short to do work that doesn't make you come alive. #dosomethingdifferent
The children of our local staff members can always be found running around camp and interacting with our Volunteers so our Community program has added a new children's class for them! Many of the children already have a basic english vocabulary from playing games and talking to our Volunteers around camp so classes are already off to a great start! • 🌍: Nosy Komba, Madagascar. 📷: @kelly97king • #MadagascarVolunteer #MRCI #VolunteerPrograms
Our Mariners took to the beach today to in an effort to collect as much trash as possible! Beach cleans are not only a great dry activity for our Mariners to participate on, but also important towards our ocean conservation efforts. • 🌍: Nosy Komba, Madagascar. 📷: @kelly97king • #MadagascarVolunteer #MRCI #VolunteerPrograms

Taylor was our Volunteer of the week this week! Her infectious smile and great sense of humor have made everyone love having her at camp! Her dedication to her project showed when even while sick she was begging to still be put on local staff classes! We have really appreciated her work ethic and overall incredible personality! • 🌍: Nosy Komba, Madagascar. 📷: @kelly97king • #MadagascarVolunteer #MRCI #VolunteerPrograms
