Star Trail has always been a technique I've loved and appreciated; when I first saw photos using this technique I thought it was either photoshop or impossible to do, but then one day I found out its mainly capturing the earth spinning on its own axis for a long exposure time that goes from 1 min till for whatever long you want. Did you know the real name of the Diamond Beach is Breiðamerkursandur or Fellsfjara? Good luck trying to pronounce that! . At first, everybody knew this place by its local icelandic name. But then they realised that many people who visited the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon didn't know about the beach just a few meters away and missed this incredible place. That's why they decided to give it a more touristic name . Lately, as the tourism is increasing, it seems like the original name is being forgotten. Even in Google Maps we can't find the icelandic name! We, as visitors, have the responsibility of always protect and reapect the environment and local people.
