Spent this past weekend working on a collection of pink floral pieces. You may be thinking to yourself, “what! how crazy and different for you!” I know....you’d think this would be my comfort zone, but it’s not. I often struggle through many attempts before getting to a piece that resembles what I was originally going for. I get frustrated. Creating florals that look abstract and expressive but still recognizable + taking an object that’s been painted a billion times and attempting to make it look new and emotional - these are things that I work on constantly. Truth be told, I never feel comfortable painting pink florals, but when I do get to something that I kinda sorta like, it’s worth the frustration 💕 Do you think anyone ever gets to a point where they feel like they know what they’re doing?
