•WEDDING DRESS TRAINS•
I hope everyone is having a good week, today I want to give you some tips about wedding dress trains. There’s several different train lengths, but in a nutshell THE LONGER THE TRAIN, MORE FORMAL IT IS. 👸🏼
The shortest train length is called sweep, and it goes well for any kind of wedding. The longest is monarch/royal, and it needs a really long aisle and a bunch of bridesmaids to help. 💃💃💃
☝️If you want a train but your gown doesn’t have one, you can most likely get one done by a seamstress. In a similar way, the train can be shortened. If you want a train but are concerned about how you’ll manage it later at the wedding party you can have it bustled up. .
Questions to ask by yourself when figuring out your train length: 🌸Are you having indoor or outdoor wedding? (I skipped long train because my own ceremony and reception was at garden. Imagine all the nicknacks getting stuck on the train!😱)
🌸How long is the aisle?
🌸Would you have help with the train if needed?
🌸How formal is the wedding otherwise?
I talk more about trains and other wedding dress details and tips in my ebook, check it out if you’re planning to look your absolute best at your wedding day. 👉🏼Follow the link in bio to get the book!💖
