it’s kind of astounding how difficult it is to practice self love. Tbh the level of self HATRED I seem to possess is high and exhausting. I can’t look at myself and just think, “you’re so lucky to be healthy and thriving and here”. My mental health takes such a toll, and trying to rebuild after tragedy leaves me feeling so hopeless. “You should be better by now what’s wrong with you,” I say to myself. Or, “your tragedy was minimal. Get over it.” My friend took this picture and I immediately resented it. It’s hard to love yourself sometimes. Today I am looking at his picture and telling that girl that she is worthwhile. I want to tell you that too. You are worthwhile. You are worth it. #keepgoing #selflove #love #breathe

The Lung is of the greatest importance to us. It is the first sign of life when we are born and it is also the last sign when we pass away. It takes the energy from the outside of the body to the inside. It acquires what sustenance it needs from the air it has inhaled and then expels what it does not need when it exhales. The lung qi then circulates this vital energy through the body, mind and spirit. It breathes fresh air and life into our whole being and it also gets rid of the stale and tainted air that resides within us. However, we do seem to take even the act of breathing for granted. We have to eat, drink and breathe to survive, but we would soon panic if we could not find some food or water to consume. And yet we can go for days without this nourishment, but we can only survive for a matter of minutes without air.

Who is struggling with seasonal allergies that are leaving them with a little respiratory issues?!! ME!!! So dont love mondays that feel like mondays 🙄 . Today I'm feeling some dark clouds creeping their way into what should be a happy day, and making it quite difficult to push through. . I've talked with you guys alot about what I do when I struggle with my depression, sometimes I let myself wallow and sometimes I push. . Today I'm doing a mixture. I'm trying to be productive and push though but taking lots of breaks in between to just flop on my bed and think. I've got my go to depression cure of patchouli and frankincense diffusing away while the window and blinds are wide open. I also turn on extra lights to get the sunny effect as an extra boost. . Soul time. • I was just gifted an amazing Oracle deck and in the introduction it describes kairos. 🤗 • “The Soul lives in kairos, soul time. Divine time. I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but it may be helpful to know: . Some of us have been given a narrative where it appears over functioning is the only option—it can be scary to stop pushing so hard, or to disappoint people, or to simply rest. It can feel like you’re living outside of your faith or can cause you to fear the repercussions; even though the roots of this are about shame, trauma, & the valid desire to belong in our family of origins or other influential groups. . But—we can unlearn this story. . We can learn to value ourselves, as much as we value others; although it certainly requires intention, compassion, & connection. Often, recognizing the hold our stories have on us is a profoundly important step in the journey. . My hope for your today, is you would begin to non judgmentally notice where shame & white knuckling are driving you. even if you can’t do anything about it—give yourself permission to observe it. #nomorewhiteknuckling #boundaries

Expansion as a way of Being rather than a concept. I’ve been struggling to find the words that would illuminate this idea into a living breathing experience for you. We’re so used to the pressure and forces of Life that push on us and keep us tight, highly contained, and rather small. Our society, the energetic circles we dwell in, whether it be work, family, or play, naturally affect our energy body when we’re not being vigilant and aware of it. Even our lower self can have ideas of how we “should” be, further tightening the screw on the lid of the proverbial box we’ve locked ourselves in! And shit, it’s small in there. Expansion as a way of Being is the conscious effort to move beyond the preconceived notions and automatic body responses to these situations that push or pressure us. By use of the breath, we are literally transported out of our sometimes seemingly impossible places into the expansion of our atoms and into the far beyond, way past the perceived limits of our physical, gross material body. There are a lot of reasons why we may begin to shrink upon hearing disturbing news or being around someone who seemingly takes up a lot of “space”, or when we doubt ourselves and our intuition. However, it does not mean we need to shrink to compensate for it! The Universe is VAST. Far bigger and grander than our minds can comprehend (like, way way waaaaay bigger times a trillion or so) and breathing into all that space grounds us and allows our consciousness to open up and our bodies to become a floating anchor in space, an illuminated ultra sonic core that connects Heaven and Earth. Like the energy of a giant old majestic tree- firmly rooted into the earth with the freedom to float and drift its leaves with the wind. This is how we become stable in our bodies, our minds, and our hearts. It does not mean becoming rigid, rather, finding the stillness in the movement of the breath. Just feeling it exactly how it is and knowing, remembering, the deeper space is always there ready to hold us. Then, we are able to fly.
