(Well, I guess they could, but it would be pretty awkward.) 🍪 • You have this crazy little thing called personal autonomy. Every single day, YOU get to decide what you do, where you go, and how you perceive the world. It’s all within your control. 🙏🏻 • What does that mean? It means you can literally do anything. Seriously, barring a few logistical issues, you could get on a plane today, fly to Bali, and never come back. You could also be a little more reasonable and put down the cookie, get in the gym, and WORK. . • The biggest revelation I’ve ever had came when I realized that if I could push myself, get super lean, and compete, ALL because of the choices I made... then I could make choices that would take me wherever I wanted to go. . • We all have the same 24 hours. There's no way around it. If you wanna see results, if you wanna build muscle you have to LIFT HEAVY and PUSH YOURSELF. Don't ever get comfortable doing those 50kg hip thrusts for 10 reps every time you train. Increase the weight girlllll 😉 - The way you grow muscle is through PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD. This means putting your muscles under greater stress over time, so that they adapt and grow. There are a number of ways to do this: - 1️⃣ Increase the weight 2️⃣ Increase the volume e.g. more sets or more reps 3️⃣ Shorter rest periods between sets 4️⃣ Increase intensity e.g. using supersets / pause reps etc - - Happy Tuesday 🧡🧡🧡
