Probiotics are easily one of my top favourite and respected supplements.
To me they’re more of a necessity if anything.
Just a BASIC run down... Most people that have heard of probiotics know they are for gut health but don’t really understand what that really means.
Well you could almost say the stomach is the roots of your health. That’s why they call it the CORE. Think about it, in women it’s where life is created!👶🏼 Gut health is also reflected on the skin on your face. Generally those that have poor gut health can have mild acne to. This is one of the reasons after a big night of alcohol your skin can break out because of the damage alcohol has on you stomach. This also explains the correlation between the gut and face when your sick in the stomach and your face turns green🤢
The next HUGE benefit of probiotics is MOOD.
Did you know that 90% of neurotransmitters are actually produced in the stomach! Most people assume it’s all the brain but the brain only produces roughly 10% and just to be clear neurotransmitters are your happy chemicals and chemicals for overall cognitive function.
Examples: serotonin & dopamine.
Other then that they also help with digestion, nutrient absorption, healthy bowel movements and immune function.
