It’s taken me a minute to share this because I just haven’t had the time to really put it into words.
When my mom was first diagnosed with breast cancer, I decided to do this shoot for her. She always wanted to be body painted, so I decided to do it for her before her body changed from treatment and surgery. The amazing @neonarmour and Joseph Titus Davis came together to paint her and Gabriel Etienne to shoot the pics, but we had a problem. We didn’t have lights. Stephanie made some calls and immediately the amazing Ralph Williams showed up with equipment and an extra camera.
There you have a sweet, healthy man behind the camera shooting a woman who was beginning her fight against a disease that has taken the lives of so many. Never could we have predicted that only a few years later, the healthy man behind the camera would leave us so soon. This shot was captured by Ralph and it’s an image that I will forever treasure. Thank you Ralph for your kindness and for sharing your talents with our community. This was the only time I got to work with you, but it will forever be treasured. May you Rest In Peace!
