Today I am proud! I’m proud because I have come this far. I’m proud because I never quit on myself. I’m proud that I finally built up enough courage to walk into Target and try jeans on. I’ve made the 20 minute trip to Target two other times this month and couldn’t bring myself to actually go in and try on pants. You may think that’s silly but for me it was a real fear. The dressing room has always been a dreaded place for me and I still had to get myself into the right mindset to do it this time. I’m not just proud because the first time in my ENTIRE life I fit into a single digit pant size, but I’m proud of the fact that I can overcome fears now with simple talks to myself instead of comfort from food. Today was an incredible experience that reignited that beast flame inside me🖤🖤 when you feel like giving up DON’T!! (Well, I guess they could, but it would be pretty awkward.) 🍪 • You have this crazy little thing called personal autonomy. Every single day, YOU get to decide what you do, where you go, and how you perceive the world. It’s all within your control. 🙏🏻 • What does that mean? It means you can literally do anything. Seriously, barring a few logistical issues, you could get on a plane today, fly to Bali, and never come back. You could also be a little more reasonable and put down the cookie, get in the gym, and WORK. . • The biggest revelation I’ve ever had came when I realized that if I could push myself, get super lean, and compete, ALL because of the choices I made... then I could make choices that would take me wherever I wanted to go. . • We all have the same 24 hours. Here I have one of my awesome athletes @benlaitheasianguy performing one of my favorite pushup variations, the bear crawl pushup.  The bear crawl pushup does wonders not only for stimulating functional strength and mass in the upper body and core but also for correcting pushup mechanics.  These can be performed on the floor however performing them on 2 benches as Ben shows here allows the lifter to avoid having their knees run into the floor.  With that said there are 7 reasons why bear crawl pushups are so effective. 1. Most individuals don’t realize that a pushup is actually a rotational movement due to the fact that there is one pivot point and axis of rotation namely the feet. In other words you should be leading with your head and chest not your middle torso. As a result the body should not move in a linear fashion but instead should produce a slight rotational movement as the upper portion of the torso should move through a larger range of motion than the lower regions. Because of the unique torso and hip angle involved in the bear pushup, the rotational component is magnified thereby reinforcing the concept of producing this proper rotational movement during pushups. 2. The bear or anti-crawling pushup provides more constant tension to the pectorals, triceps, and shoulders, than perhaps any pushup variation I’ve ever used.  In fact, there’s no rest or letup on these as both the top and bottom positions are equally as hard making it feel like the person is using accommodating resistance even though they aren’t. Most individuals will notice they perform substantially fewer reps and/or lighter weight with these than traditional pushups because of the heightened tension and unique body angles involved. 3. Sagging hips, lack of core activation, and excessive lumbar extension are very common problems many lifters inevitably run into during pushups. Inconsistent training schedule, 💩 diet (my fault), very little sleep. This is what I signed up for when I chose med school. Bodybuilding might be a *way of life* but it's not the entirety of it. I skip the gym so I can study for exams if I don't feel ready for them, I can't always get the 8 hours of sleep a night, and even with my wonderful wifey helping make meals for me (love you @saradew.16 ), the appetite just is nonexistent sometimes. The block is almost over and my contest prep will start here sooner than I want but I'm ready for it. I enjoy doing these because I like hearing what people think and how they keep motivated Today I wanted to know what is your go to exercise routine the first day back after taking some time off. You hear all the normal stereotypes of curls for girls, international chest day Monday and the ladies loving to work legs and glutes. For me, I actually enjoy hitting a weaker body part first day back....ironically...my back. I have trouble growing it and with scar tissue from surgeries it will never be enough for me. I do, however, love the pump I get from it. So what is your go to exercises/routine. Is it a single body part? A split? Traditional 2 body parts i.e chest tri, back bi? Or is it something completely different lime circuit training or cross fit or a spin class. Knowing your body is critical to longevity in the weight room. 👍. - With increased cardio and another slight calorie reduction the last two weeks to finish off the #bbcomchallengeseries strong, I lightened the load and worked on sumo deadlifts instead of pulling conventional. - I’ve been proud to have kept at least triples at 5 plates for deads, and 4 plates for squats through this entire cut, but when the body is really starting to feel worn, it isn’t the time to stick to a weight for the ego!. - Today will be the last leg day of this thing and another lighter one, but I look forward to putting some weight back on the bar next week with some extra calories and less fatigue present. 👍

Des brocolis, du poulet et une banane. Voilà ma recette magique pour avoir un six packs pendant une prise de masse. Bonne soirée l'équipe... .... Ok j'déconne. Plus sérieusement, trop de conneries tournent sur le travail des abdominaux : Fais en 500 par jour, fais en un jour sur deux, y a que en sèche qu'on verra tes abdos et bla bla nique tes fesses oui ! Déjà premièrement les abdos tu les bossent ok. Pas besoin de faire 100 Crunch, 200 relevés de jambes etc.... 1/ Les abdos tu les bossent si tu gaines sur chaques exercices en salle, pec, dos, épaules etc... 2/ moi je les bossent deux fois par semaines grand maximum, tous les jours tu risques une déchirure abdominale et par expérience je peux vous dire que ça fait très mal. 3/ la diète toute l'année ! Et pas qu'en sèche. Si tu fais une PDM en mangeant sainement, tu verras toujours tes abs. 4/ la génétique, y en a (des chanceux que je fais partie) qui ont des abdos en permanence même si je bouffe de la merde pendant un mois. C'est comme ça y a des élus et d'autres non 😂 Je déconne te vexe pas. 5/ toujours travailler en contractant les abdos et ne pas les relâcher sur la phase excentrique. En conclusion, gaine a chaques exos, travaille les deux fois par semaine et mange bien l'ami. Story time - if you have 2 minutes. ⌚ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Genetics play a huge part in the bodybuilding world... BUT... Hard work can get you there long term. I want to be a classic physique Athlete one day ifbb pro and chase that olympia stage. What does that mean well I think 'personally' I need to train like the 70s bodybuilders, their workouts, splits etc to create that 'shape'. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ I could follow another plan which is amazing but is it giving me that look maybe not... Always had the mindset ACT AS IF... If you were pro, if you were in their era how would you train? ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Not only that but classic bodybuilding is getting some wrap for is it just smaller bodybuilding..
