Today marks 4 years since I’ve started doing makeup professionally. FOUR YEARS! 🙈 I worked as an Accountant and slowly build this business up on a side learning what made me come alive and what was just “tolerable”. It’s been an amazing journey and yet I feel like I’m just getting started. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is the importance of sharing with others. It wasn’t until last year that I finally decided to teach other artist and found my preferred makeup style. Makeup artistry takes work and takes time, but anyone can do it - I truly believe that. If you’re in those beginning stages, keep going. You are 100% capable of doing this, too. Don’t be too hard on yourself - if you accidentally oversleep or double-book, if you forget your brushes or mascara lol, it’s okay. We’ve all been there. It’s a part of the process and it’ll help you prepare better the next time. My point is you aren’t a failure until you make a decision to quit. So as long as you continue pushing forward, you’re not failing. We’re all on a journey learning lesson on what to do more of and what not to do ever again! 🤓You’ve got this and I believe in you, I genuinely do!
I say this a lot but I’m so Grateful for the love and support you all show me. Thank you! 🖤 ————————————————-
