Stories we get from teachers about the impact of Outdoor Adventures (OA) are the best! Lindale (TX) ISD's Moss Middle School is a recent addition to OA. The PE teacher had this to say about starting archery this year, "We had a lot of fun starting archery at our school. I had never done archery in my PE classes but after getting certified, and having the equipment and support, we tried it. It truly was beyond our expectations. We started an archery club that shot once a week. We had so many students sign up (60+) that we had to divide them into two groups and have them shoot every other week. We ended with a tournament and count this year as successful. We included every student in our school by teaching archery in all PE classes. We also brought our Life Skill and Behavior Unit students to the gym for archery instruction, and those who are physically challenged and in wheelchairs were assisted by staff. I look forward to the future opportunities to instruct our students in new activities."
