I’ve had two people ask me about my drawings on the train this week. I’m usually very awkward about talking to people on public transport but I appreciate that drawing a load of cats invites conversation. .
Both people expressed how much they used to love drawing and how they wished they had time to do it. .
I explained that I had always assumed I would have some magical extra time in the future, but that has never happened. Instead, you have to carve out time in your day now to do things you love. .
So I’d like to encourage anyone else thinking about how much they used to love to draw, or write or play guitar to go for it now! Don’t wait for future free time that is probably never going to exist. .
