Went for a hike for the first time in like 3 years. Here’s a few thoughts I had during my hike:
1. Do Hard Things- for the first 30 mins of the hike I was angry, I hated that I decided to do it, but then I realized I hated it because it was hard. Well, life isn’t always going to have an easy road, sometimes you gotta do the hard, uncomfortable things in order to reach your highest potential.
2. Slay Your Lane- during the hike, my friend stayed a good ways in front of me, naturally I’m competitive so I started to get upset with myself because I couldn’t keep up with her, then the thought crossed my mind: who says I have to keep up with her? Literally NO ONE😐 The reality is I actually get to go at my own pace, I get to do what works for me, which then allows me to enjoy the journey that much more! So, instead of wasting time trying to compare and keep up with others, challenge yourself to steady your pace in your own lane.
3. Love Yourself- 🗣I am one BAD ASS BITCH. I am beautiful, intelligent, powerful, hilarious, creative, ambitious and courageous. I love the woman I am and I’m obsessed with the woman I’m becoming. The journey to self-love can be long & hard, but it’s absolutely worth it! When you realize how amazing you are, you begin to tap into your greatness and then you start to understand that you are indeed UNSTOPPABLE💪🏾 •
