In his last 6-week program Stephen was working at 6 reps, with the weight varying between 65-75kg. On the last day we decided to try and test his strength and see how he was looking. Before he knew it he was up at 100kg, the video showing this attempt. This was the first time Stephen had done 100kg, but it was no way near his maximum. He could have definitely lifted more if we didn’t put on the breaks (that’ll come on the next program). This is a great example of why it's important to train and build up your strength. Through his work during the previous weeks, he improved his strength, even though he wasn’t lifting weights anywhere near 100kg. Patience and consistency may not sound as exciting as the Quadzilla Leg Buster 2.0 program, but they are the key to strength and fitness improvements. I unfortunately can’t have gluten free crust because it’s made with eggs, and yes I’ve tried countless times regretting my decision with the two week of cystic acne that ensues. So I make my own and Trader Joe’s has the best gluten free, egg free crust. These are the ingredients I like to use but the best part is you can add whatever you like. We all walk a very fine line between healthy and borderline everything else. I’ve conquered that very unhealthy mindset in the past . Because I was and always have been an emotional eater, so I reach for comfort food when I’m just not feeling it. But it’s never going to take the stress off, so I workout. It’s far from perfect , it’s not always at the gym and it’s not always to it’s full potential. But I do it anyways 🥳. So here is my 1st week post- against all odds : anxiety, major sciatica pain , injured left knee, IBS , PTSD, asthma .All kinds of big words for illnesses fully controlled by my mind and nothing else. Down to 147 from 152 Gained 70% of my strength from left side of my body . 🥳😎🤩 cheers to life
