Leaving tomorrow for a couple days at @SnowAddictionsGuideService with @HuntersHelpingHeroes. Expecting some good wind and mild temps according to The Weather Channel app (🤷🏽‍♂️). Was gonna hold off and post this photo later but I may forget or just look over it. • I was able to make another trip with the guys last weekend. It’s getting funner and funner hunting with some of the few I’ve hunted with longer than most. We never say where and unless something seriously life threatening happens, we probably never will. And even then we aren’t sure if that’s enough. Headed back soon, just not soon enough. • • • #TheyDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations #BoysAreBackInTown

I’m a few days behind on posting this, but that was sort of intentional. With all the fuss about corn and warm water (🙄) I figured a trip north was in order. Made it even better that it happened with these guys. Maybe one day we’ll pile white birds high together, but this was plenty on that day. My birthday. • • • #TheyDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations #BoysAreBackInTown

Spent Tuesday with the guys I try to spend most of my time with during season. I guess you could call it a birthday goose hunt. On the first day of my 33rd year I was laying between socks just behind a turnrow waiting on white birds. Pics from that hunt coming soon. After the hunt we burned up the roads looking for more. I got home way later than planned and @BkShoemaker let me get away with it because “you better be glad it’s your birthday!” I admittedly took advantage of it. We ended the day at our “neighbors” (in laws) with a birthday dinner and a solid display of the alphabet and numbers knowledge. Lol. Thanks Drake. • Each year I have to ask myself how it could get any better. Each time I can’t answer the question but it seems to just answer itself as time goes on. • Thank you to everyone who reached out. Facebook “wall” posts, IG posts, IG stories, texts, AND phone calls. I appreciate everyone’s efforts to make me feel way cooler than I deserve to be. Luckily these things are only for a day because I’d have to buy new hats and cut the necks out of my shirts. You folks know EXACTLY how to make someone smile. • Photo from a public land hunt with @Saltwater_Smart while I was “working” with @DryCreekOutfitters. I’m already ready to go back and hang. • • • #TheyDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations #HuntDryCreek #Birthday

Don’t Let Your Demeanor Be Your Demise • There’s so much more than persona and first impressions when you get to the point I am in life. One thing in particular has stood out for me this past year. Demeanor. • Each year I meet new people, hunt with more people, and walk away with solid relationships with some of those people. Some take shape right away and others aren’t even tangible until later on down the road. I’ve learned that persona only matters from a distance and first impressions are only good one time. The demeanor of a person has been known to make or break it for me. The way they “hold their nose” or the obvious interests they have when they’re around. • Listening and watching others has made me more aware of my own self and I’m thankful for that. I hope that I’m closer what I’m striving to be and I hope that I’m making leaps and bounds towards a better 30 something. My mom reminded me today that my birthday is tomorrow. Here’s to 33 and a more approachable demeanor. • • Photo: @Sullivan_Tristan #TheyDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations #Demeanor #Birthday

The inside of the truck on Day 59 of 60. Surprisingly organized compared to some. A lot of credit goes to most of my days being in one of many @DryCreekOutfitters rides but nonetheless we will celebrate the cleanliness of my little @GMC. • A few things to note. Caffeine comes in many forms. Good company the same. Sugary carbs aren’t bad either. Keep them close and you’re always in for a good time. @GlockInc on magnets and a @ProDriveOutboards hooked to your hitch helps a lot too. 😉 • • • #TheyDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations

For getting you there, back, and everything in between. @ProDriveOutboards has you covered even at breakfast. • I’ve spent the last two years in, out, and around this thing. It hasn’t failed me. Neither has the office that stands behind it. Now that the storm that is waterfowl season is over I can say without a doubt that I’m stoked to be a part of this team. Thankful for them. Looking forward to watch this grow! • • • #TheyDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations

Pulled a Quick One • This season played a terrible trick on a lot of us. Hopes and promise of an early push with plenty of water to go around. It was the polar opposite of last season. The year before we searched for water. This one had us searching for ground that wasn’t covered by 4 feet of it. To say we didn’t learn would be a lie but to say we could have been okay without that whooping would be an understatement. • I spent the majority of my year with @DryCreekOutfitters in Wichita Falls, TX and experienced a whole new level of hunting. I had less slow mornings than my guys and gals over here in the Southern part of the Mississippi Flyway. Luckily, I was able to spend my last few days of season in the woods with my dudes. Already looking forward to next year. Doesn’t matter the outcome. • • • #TheyDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations

J’s First Flooded Timber • Her first river run was a good one to start with. A “balmy” 27* headed straight into the less than calm North wind. I made sure she had plenty of clothes on but as her *favorite* uncle I still worried it wasn’t enough. Each time I would ask if she was okay she would nod in acknowledgment and stare directly into the soul of that north wind. Almost as if it was welcomed. • It was a rush to set up. She held my arm as she navigated her first steps in waders and I held my breath as I watched it happen. As soon as we stepped into the woods she asked “Uncle Wade, is this flooded timber?” I let her know that it was and reminded her that it was my most favorite thing to do in the world but now it was even more my favorite thing because she was there with me. What followed was a smile and expression that only J is capable of. She glowed but tried to keep it low key. There was no hiding it. • No shots were fired. The few birds that flew over sky high we’re as exciting as they ever had been. I’ve never experienced the enamor of a hunt that I saw in her eyes that day. Not even when I was a kid. Monday solidified the answers to my questions. I’ve got a sure enough stud of a sidekick and my two boys have a big cousin that’s gonna be hard to catch up with. I’ve got a feeling she won’t let them fall too far behind. • • • #TheyDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations #Sidekick

I’ve gotta be honest. I’ve been away from the house for longer than I ever have been. The last 42 days have allowed me only 10 to be with @BkShoemaker and our 2.5 year old man child. It’s been hard and tough and everything else you’d expect. • Those other 32 days were more than just time away from home. They were more than just work. More than just photos. They were experiences. They were lessons learned. They were emotions. I’d be lying if I told you that I had one single image that summed up the trip. Unfortunately I do not. Not for me anyway. This one will have to do. • A mud and blood stained @DryCreekOutfitters hoody on the back of @_KileJones during a wet, foggy, and nasty BANGER. I think it’s simple. I think it’s clear. I think it’s obvious. Hunt. Dry. Creek. • Thank you @R.Morgan91 for trusting and allowing me to photograph your clients and your crew. Thank you Dry Creek crew for putting up with for an entire month! Can’t wait for the next one. • • • • #TheyDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations #HuntDryCreek

GET YOU A HANDFUL AND GET YOUR 🍑 BACK DOWN! • At 0900 a recount was in order. Thirteen guns laid on their side between volleys and raised in haste when the time came. We all knew our lanes and we all stayed between our lines. Guns pointed where they should have been and birds falling when they should have. Bossman came out of retirement, “the champ” blew his goose calls literally better than anyone in the world could have, and the other 11 (including myself) played our respective roles. When everyone understands and plays the part they’re meant to play good things happen. We got muddy. We got bloody. We got tarred. At 0900 we entered triple digits. • Lines and lanes are drawn for a reason. They’re efficient and tend to help everyone get where they’re going safely and quickly. It’s when others try to clog up the exits trying to go somewhere they don’t belong that messes up the flow of traffic. <<<—Moral of the story ^^^. • • • • #TheDED #KnowWhereYouStand #RelationshipsOverRations #HuntDryCreek

I don’t post many of the images from @DryCreekOutfitters on my personal. Not yet. I especially don’t post many pile pics on my feed. Hunts both personal and Dry Creek’s. In the goose field this morning with @DryCreekOutfitters and we’ve got birds on the ground with more working in. Can’t say I don’t love it, but dirty water and clean canopy tops are my favorite. When I make it back home I’ll have 7 days to try it again. I’ll save you the spill for 2018. It was cool, it was fast, and it was fun. It was tough, it was tricky, and it was trying. • I think it goes without saying that 18 was good, but it needs to be noted that 19 will be better. It’s a new year, not new stuff. It’s been two seasons since our “good woods” have consistently had water. This would’ve made number 3 and we fully expected it to fall in line with the previous two. Mother Nature had other plans, as she always does, and it’s almost too wet. With more rain in the forecast and river levels that are TBD, I’m gonna choose to focus on the few days I have left here in LA. • Hard bottoms, root balls, and canopy holes. Won’t matter if it’s sunny or grey, we’ll be in the woods somewhere, hopefully. Playing the shadows and a WILD version of Marco Polo till end of season. Texas in between, and timber on each end. This year is definitely not like the rest. • • • • #KnowWhereYouStand #HuntDryCreek

*151* • Over the course of the last 16 days I’ve had the pleasure, opportunity, experience, and, debatably of course, chore of working alongside @DryCreekOutfitters. Some of the “killingest” guys I’ve ever spent time with made my exit even more exciting because I’m able to look forward to Round 2 in January! So glad I was allowed these 16 days and the 16 more coming up. @R.Morgan91 has a special group under the DCO umbrella and I’m STOKED to call them friends. • We got our butts whooped several times, but we won on most days. I guess that sort comes with the territory when you scout more than you sleep. We laid to rest more birds during my short stay than most hunters will ever knock down in a season. I’d tell you how many, but it doesn’t really matter. Not to them anyway. Their routine stays the same. • Hunt. Eat. Scout. Eat. Sleep. Repeat. It’s what makes this outfit successful and days like this one possible. See you fellas in 10 days!! Ready to “knock the soul” -( @leemc35 ) out of some more. • • • • #KnowWhereYouStand #HuntDryCreek

A few ticks left on the timepiece and then it’s go time. We call this “wait o’clock”. • Feels good for the clock to still be on the countdown with 70dzn decoys put out and 23 blinds brushed in. I like to put stories to scenes as much as I can, but sometimes you drive into town to make a deposit at the bank and there’s birds hanging out. Nine mallard limits in the snow and I can’t quit thinking about this one bird. • I hopped the fence with my camera to get a different angle and played bird dog while I was there. A couple had hit the dirt on the other side of the barbed wire so i volunteered to look for them while I was on the other side. • I’ve learned in the last year or so that I’ve got bad circulation in a few of my fingers. It’s not a fantastic problem to have, especially in my line of work. The snow and wind proved to be everything we needed it to be and everything that my hands didn’t. They were red at first and then white. My fingers didn’t hurt anymore because I had lost all feeling in them. When I laid on the ground and looked through my viewfinder I lost all fervor for warming my old man hands. This was something I had dreamed of since I started hunting. Not the camera, not the deafening pains from my hands, but mallards by the piles in snow that seemed to never stop. It wasn’t until I started making my way back to the guys that I realized my hands were toast. Oh yea, and I didn’t even pick up a gun that day. • As soon as the edit was finished I could feel my hands sting a little. I smiled. It was worth it. • • • • #OpenerIsEverything #HuntDryCreek

On the roads headed to @DryCreekOutfitters today. Won’t be able to get my boots wet in Louisiana again until after Christmas. It felt weird saying that the first time. Even weirder typing it out. Leaving tomorrow to do some very familiar things in a very unfamiliar place. I’ll plan to come back a little more educated and a lot more humbled. A week ago I wouldn’t have written this in the same tone I am now. A few days in Venice with some incredible people who represented stellar brands in the fishing world. Wind and rain pounded us for the only days we were able to put the boats in the water. Water coming down, or sideways in our case, isn’t the easiest thing to photograph in. But it happened anyway. • This weekend provided plenty of plot twists. What seemed to be a foolproof plan proved to be closer to a game of chutes and ladders. Alarm clocks are only good when they work and plans are only good when they come together. Nothing went as intended, it never really does. But it happened anyway. • On Thursday @HomerunCharters and @Capt_CoreyGradwohl let me tag along to the lease in Venice and have a sure enough “meat haul”. Plenty of birds, more laughs about a smelly situation, and a couple soiled pieces of Sitka later, we made it back. Going back out in the rain tomorrow. Not what we had planned for the first Monday of our season, but it’s happening anyway. • • • • #Diverge7 #OpenerIsEverything #Home

My life looks a lot different these days. Consumed by a 60 day season that’s brought me many friends and taken away many more hours of sleep. The difference will be my downtime, albeit there won’t be much of it, but I know EXACTLY where it will be spent. Home. • Tomorrow I head to Venice, LA for a writer’s conference called Confluence. It’s the second annual shindig that @FrontierSalesGroup has put on and it’s shaping up to be a little more of my flavor. It’s the “kickoff” to what will prove to be the busiest season of my life, ever. • I still plan to put plenty of birds in the bed of this truck over the course of the 60 day season. Not sure what will surround them, but I can guarantee that the ice bags from get togethers, “crocks” (rocks) from my yard, and sand buckets from “side” (outside), will be at least close to heart. • • • • #Diverge7 #YouthHunt #OpenerIsEverything #Home

It’s been about 12 hours since this shot and I don’t even remember the joke, but that’s okay, because I’ll never forget the laughs. • Not that it matters, seeing as how this is what really matters, but there’s several ducks hanging on the other side of that closest smile. We had a BLAST. Some solid hits and some solid whiffs. Neither can wait for the next round. • Trey will always have an invite to youth day, he just won’t be able to bring a gun after today. J has 10 years ahead of her and she’s already talking about the trip that will make it 9. About two shell boxes empty. At least 10 packs of @welchs fruit snacks down, a dozen white powdered donuts, and some @Belvita to “top it off”. Nine birds down with 8 recovered. Now, only one week will till the big leagues. • • • • #Diverge7 #YouthHunt #KidsHuntToo #OpenerIsEverything

This weekend is different. It is for me anyway. I have invites to hunt and I turn them all down. Respectfully of course. I thank them and expound on my jealousies because they’ll be holding a gun and I won’t. • For whatever reason, it makes sense to somebody that the East side of the state should open a week later than the rest of it. I’m not questioning the dates, just backfilling those that may not know. • Tomorrow is youth day. This evening I’ll have two “kids” in my truck. One on his very last youth hunt and the other on her 3rd with 10 more to go. Tomorrow is why I tell my buddies no. It’s why I stress and hustle like I’m running out daylight. It’s the sole reason, I believe, that what we enjoy today will be here tomorrow. I look forward to it every single year. I feel, as an adult who loves this sport, that it is more than an obligation to make sure my hand plays a part in the next step our sport takes. • I’m lucky to be in a place where hunting is second nature for most and first for some. It isn’t hard to find willing participants. I encourage you to find a few willing and take them out. Be safe and be smart, but please be fun. Good luck out there! • • • • #Diverge7 #YouthHunt #KidsHuntToo

I’ve got a soft spot for yellow labs. I’ve got a softer spot for yellow labs that hunt. • I was in Texas over Labor Day weekend photographing for @R.Morgan91 ’s humongous dove hunt. One morning I asked to be placed with a hunter who had a dog. This guy just happened to have a yellow. We talked about dogs, birds, and life’s blessings that day. He and his family limited and I moved to another group. Super thankful for the people I’ve met on this road. • • • • #Diverge7 #Dove #Lab • Photo Via: @DryCreekOutfitters

The Day Water Lost Its Splash • This was the day I realized my 70-200 autofocus had went out for good. It was a FRUSTRATING feeling to say the least. To be on shoot and have your most used lens “go down” is not a feeling you look forward to. Manual lens it is. • This was also the day we walked a mile in and busted ice with our feet another 1/4 mile to our spot. When this one hit the water it didn’t splash. It made us laugh hysterically and question what we had just seen. Not because it didn’t go through the ice but because @RedBeardJohn was actually the one who hit it. Jk. It was the reality that our water had lost its splash. • • • • #Diverge7 #SingleLadies #Hen

Teal season is over. Gone. Finished. Finito. Done. Now it’s time to see what November is made of! Won’t be long folks. • I stood on a 4wheeler battery pushed all the way to the tailgate in the bed of my truck going down a COUNTRY road moving at 30MPH for this. Jeff, who was driving, would yell “HOLD ON” as we approached the plethora of potholes that littered this dead end street. As we bounced over each set he would then yell “AITE” to let me know it was “safe” to stand on the battery again. Less bumps means less chance to get bumped out, right? Super sketch, but we got it done after about 3 trips. • • • #Teal #TealSeason #Boats

Here we go again. Teal time. • My buddy Jeff doesn’t have an Instagram so I wanted to sort of introduce him. He’s either in or around most of the images you see of mine. The epitome of a pal. • Known this fella since kindergarten. He’s been my best friend since we were 6 and was the best man in my wedding. Dude has been by my side and usually in whatever it was I was into throughout most of my life. He’s had influence on a lot of the decisions I’ve made and helped my habits of duckin’ for the last 10 years. Saturday we get to hunt together for the first time since February. Teal season.... • I was able to hunt once this weekend. Couldn’t sleep the night before it. The last several hunts I’ve been a part of involved me holding my camera. The idea that I got to load my gun had me all kinds of anxious. I liked it. I appreciated it. It wasn’t expected. • It had to of been the hottest I’d ever gotten. The most strenuous pack in and out I’d ever been a part of. Was worried I was getting old until I turned around and saw the rest of the crew. We all rode the struggle bus that day. It was fun. It was hell. It’s debatable if it was worth it. It’s unanimous that we’d do it again. • • • #StruggleBus #Teal #GetOutside

Waffle Houses across the North Louisiana region are some of the most underrated pieces of real estate. They serve so many more purposes than breakfast or 4AM fourth meals. • Notorious for 2AM meet ups and 11AM send offs, they provide a well lit opportunity for friends to chat about whatever they deem relevant without judgment from the respectable patrons that frequent the establishment. • Here’s to Waffle Houses around the country who serve more of a purpose than just the meals most are familiar with. “I did not expect our first morning to go like that” - @CalNess • So, that’s not a direct quote, but that’s exactly what his expression says. I put a lot into what I do. Whether it be photography, being a husband, or being a dad, I put all I have into what matters most. The most ironic thing is that no matter how much goes into whatever it is I’m pouring myself into, it never compares to what I get out of it. • I’ve learned that if you start something based off of what you’re getting in return then the return will always be short of what you expected it to be. Do because you can, not because they can. • On another note, since this is a shot from a Sr. last year, it’s bittersweet that I can say that I’m not 100% sure I’ll be offering “Senior Duck Shoots” this year. I’m fortunate enough to have a PACKED calendar starting in December. If offered there will be extremely limited slots. I’ll give you an update later on when I have one. • • • • #DoMore

We had just cleaned the only turkey of the trip so we loaded up and headed to the landowners home to say thanks and shoot the bull. It was rainy, windy, and COLD for a day that’s supposed to be considered spring time. • We arrived and shook hands. It was my first time to meet the fam but it was obvious that @TheMattGray had built a solid rapport with this family over the years. • After chatting and learning of some unfortunate info about the birds we had been after the weekend prior, the landowner asked if Matt would take a look at and give a guesstimate on the score of a deer he had shot back during the winter. Tuesdaze • Tomorrow, as a nation, we celebrate Independence. It doesn’t have to involve a grill, grass stained new balances, or even fireworks. Acknowledge it, appreciate it, and maybe even think about actions needed to keep it that way. • I’ll hit the gym, mow, prep a room for new flooring, and hang with my little family. The entire time reflecting on how blessed we are to just have the choices we do. I don’t have a flag waving or fireworks blazing image to share, but this one is pretty cool too. Lastly, can anybody spot the dragonfly? • • • • #Happy4th #IndependenceDay #1776

It didn’t go like most do. He spent his time in a box stand and I spent mine in the water. They say that after kids get older that their hobbies become yours. Dad still spends a few hours in the box stands, but each year I find myself getting more calls while I’m in the water, undoubtedly from this exact spot, giving me the real time report of him and Papaw’s morning. • Guess what they say is true. Thanks for coming over to the good guys side with me Dad. Happy Father’s Day. • • • • #HappyFathersDay

Go North • I’ve always wanted to go north when our season took a pause for the split, I just never had. Not until this year. A few good friends and some stellar acquaintances made it happen. • When we made it official we made plans ASAP. The afternoon before the opener we launched from a couple launches I had never seen in my life at a place I had never been. The anxiousness of just sitting on that incline was enough to make me blush. I was feeling the stoke and I liked it. • We covered a lot of water in a little time. We caught a glimpse of wings flapping in the distance. Wings, I might add, that the boat in front of us apparently did not see. • After calming our tits and deciding to watch rather than the knee jerk reaction of giving fives and hollers, we saw where they were coming from. Or so we thought. • We docked the boat in the bank to take a closer look. Hopping out with more than excitement we high stepped to the other side of this piece of dirt. • Birds lifted and picked up over our heads as soon as we could see the other side. The few that decided to stay helped us make our decision for the next morning. We marked the hole and called the boys to let them know what the plan was for the next day. • Another 2AM wake up call and the responsibility of handling @OnXHunt ’s IG story for the day. No pressure. To be continued. • • • • #SplitSession

Just Our Luck • Most people will never know what it looks like before daylight in a duck hole. I had personally never seen it in this light until that morning. I hope this gives you an idea. • The water was hardly shin deep and boat launch was as steep as any I’d launched from. That’s not a great combination for 4AM launches. After pushing the boat off the trailer at the only angle it would leave, we trimmed up a little and headed out. • The ice was thicker than anything Id ever driven a boat on. That’s sort of an uneasy feeling if you aren’t used to it. You feel every bit of the ice break and swear that you’re on top of it. Truth is, sometimes we were. Hydroplaning is a swing set at recess compared to what would happen to three guys wide open in a boat that doesn’t come with brakes. It’d be a heckofa ride, but the stop, or rather crash wouldn’t quite be the same. • After navigating the fingers of the creeks and a couple turn arounds, we made it to a spot with enough water to try them. The water was secluded, out of the wind, and away from the current. As good as that sounds, it doesn’t help us any with the ice. • Our wader boots quickly became hammers and my push pole turned into a punch and scoot. Punch the ice and scoot it over. After we had cleared the hole, set up the floaters, the full bodies, and the jerk string, we just knew that we were gonna need that yellow caution tape to rope off the crime scene. We had never set foot where we were and never had a boat that far in. We were tired of the same ole scene of where we had been hunting and wanted to try something different. • We didn’t fire a single shot that morning. Not one. Our feet felt the repercussions of stomping ice about two hours into the hunt and with nothing in the sky and no shots around us we decided to pick up mid morning and call it a day. Talked with an “old timer” at the ramp. He had shot one and said that it was the slowest morning of the year so far. Just our luck I guess. • • • • #LuckLess

Always Set up the Setup • I sat on the far left side. Very 1st or the very last depending on which side you’re standing. So much white that it almost would hurt your eyes. The majority of the birds would come from our front left and floating or straight out and tree top high. They knew exactly where they were headed. Luckily, so did we. • My buddy and I chatted about everything from shotgun shells to Sunday School ideas. Seriously, we covered almost everything in between volleys. There were 11 of us in total. Some I had known for a while, some I had known for a few hours, a few that I had know for a few days, and one I had known since kindergarten. It was a melting pot of minds with only one goal. Kill. Them. All. • The clean up was fast and fun. Usually is when the pile stacked up the way this one did. Tripods were left and ideas were tossed around for the “hero shot”. We landed on “stack the pelicans on each other and let her rip.” After the case stack and a couple corn stalks under the lens for added loft, we had our setup set up. • We hollered and high fived during the round up. It got a little out of hand. I kissed a Viking on the cheek. He was impressed, I was surprised. Yes, you read that right. • • • • • #Snows #SouthernPrairieOutfitters

There was a shouting kind of introduction that morning. A misunderstanding that lead to a “might as well hunt”. • What started out slow crept up into the other side of the spectrum after a mid morning scout that resembled a game of musical chairs as much as it did a morning on the water. Circles and circles around this place but stopping at a different section each time. Fleeting optimism quickly turned to a STRONG second wind when we looked up and saw droves of them coming our way. • With both boats loaded up we made another circle around a place that I’ll leave without a name to another place that I will leave without a name to find what we had only hoped to find. A shouting kind of introduction ended with a shouting kind of closure with TOTALLY different tones. • • • • • #Shout

We had just made it to water deep enough to let idle push us forward. It’s a lot easier to float a boat than it is to fight a motor in hard bottom. They’re mud motors, not hard clay motors. Move the stuff around and get in; that’s usually our plan. This day was no different in that respect. • It was one of those mornings where you scratch your head and wonder what happened. More birds than the sky could hold but apparently less than what we needed. They did what they wanted to, but then again, I guess they always do. Calls, no calls, just a little calling, motion, no motion, just a little motion, calls and motion. Literally had no more tricks up our sleeves. • The day went on, like most do, and we kept hoping for those few groups to do it right. They never did. It took some singles, a snow goose water swat, and my very first duck band to turn our frustration into fruition. I guess there’s really more of those than others. Frustration and fruition. They’re what keeps us awake most nights. Comes with the territory. • You’ve seen this band several times now on my feed. You’ve seen that strap as many times as you’ve seen the band. I suspect there’s another time or two that it’ll pop up. There’s still plenty left for tale. • • • • • #FrustratingFruition
