ARE YOU READY for something more this year?
Have you considered a “side hustle” to support your family?
Are you a Stay at Home Mom ready to chat something besides diapers, nap refusals and brown bear, brown bear? (This was me!)
Do you want to make a social impact while also making a paycheck?
Are you O-V-E-R your standard corporate job?
I’m coming up on 3 years with Beautycounter and I realize what a different woman and life I have since saying yes… while my skin has a more natural, even glow, I’ve made meaningful friendships, developed as a leader, shared a voice in a movement that is making *huge* progress [hello @nytimes and @thetodayshow features], and grown in confidence because of the women I now surround myself with.. especially CEO & founder, @greggrenfrew + women above.
I realize I don’t talk about my “job” much because of outside opinions and the stigma that has been placed on direct sales / MLM companies (which happens to be majority women: 74% in fact). This was brought to light this week when in a mommy group I saw someone say, “I need a better moisturizer for my dry skin… don’t try to sell me anything, no mlm companies.”
#1. I would rather SUPPORT another mom or woman (especially a friend) who is trying to bring in a little extra income for her family while also raising kids/running a household, etc than put money into a corporate brand that pockets those dollars.
#2. What negative experience has that mom had with a direct sales company? If you are in direct sales, please choose a company that you respect, use and LOVE.. otherwise this attitude develops. And please, treat others how you want to be treated (no copy/paste!)
#3. The market is going direct to consumer across this industry and others… it’s how we majority of us want to shop these days. See no. 1.
If you answered YES to any of the scenarios above, I want to hear more. This isn’t the best fit for everyone, but what if it is for you? DM me. And if you are already in Direct Sales, let me know if the comments 💗Share it proudly! #womensupportingwomen
