New Zealand is bar none the best country in the world for landscape photography. Nowhere else on the planet will you find such superlative scenery, from beaches to mountains to fjords to glaciers to rainforests, in such a small space with such great access. Combine that with the constantly changing, dramatic weather and you have the recipe for incredible photographic opportunities. It's virtually impossible to go a day here without wanting to create a photo. As an example here are just 10 of the 42 keepers I've shot in the past 17 days. Maybe not all of these are portfolio-worthy but the fact that I averaged nearly 3 good shots per day for the past 2.5 weeks is bonkers.
Most of these images were created during the photo tour I was leading with @johnbarclayphoto. If you were on that trip can't thank you enough for being a fantastic group!
I'll be leading more photo tours in New Zealand in 2020. If you'd like to be on the list, head over to www.joshuacripps.com/IG
