A shared life is a great life.
Even though I can count the hours on one hand of how much alone time I've had recently, I know that becoming a mom can feel pretty isolating at times. You spend all day entertaining a little one and lots of time trying to interpret how they are feeling. In the process, the mom can often get forgotten (or at least feel that way..). Raising a kid takes a village, truly.
I'm beyond thankful that for the past few months we've played host to some of our nearest and dearest who ventured north to meet our little one and have some sneaky outdoor fun with us.
Most had to endure the coldest temperatures they've ever experienced and the possibility of a crying baby taking over the day's planned activites.
But all survived, and provided much needed giggles and memories I will look fondly back on.
We have been blessed with friends near and far filling our souls with love, freezers with food, days with joy, and inboxes with encouragement.
If it takes a village to raise a little one, she is lucky to be surrounded by a great one already.
Swipe to see some beautiful people (ok, mostly the back of their heads...) in some beautiful places.
