A I R A F O R C E___⠀ ⠀ Energy flows where intention goes..⠀ ⠀ Wild scenes of Aira Force in full rip roaring flow..⠀ ⠀ Aira Force is, perhaps, the most famous waterfall in the Lake District, where rain water runs from the fells into Aira Beck before cascading 70ft with a thundering roar over the falls.⠀ ⠀ To begin the walk, it is best to start from the NT Carpark, close to the foot of the falls, or the nearby parking area on Dockray road.⠀ ⠀ Upon experiencing the impressive scenes of the falls, as a welcomed contrast, why not escape the visitor crowds and head up Gowbarrow Fell following a much quieter path alongside the river.⠀ ⠀ Continuing upstream, you will eventually emerge from the confines of the gorge to reach the summit, where you can enjoy expansive views over Ullswater and beyond.⠀ ⠀ 📷 photo by @gtc_landscapephotography ⠀ ⠀ Tag #lovelakeswalks for a chance to feature 🙌🏻
