Let this shot be a learning experience to ALWAYS double check your settings before going on a shoot. This especially applies to having one one camera body to do all of your work, since some settings change.
The original shot, which you can see in a ways back in my feed, had horrendous noise in the sky from one of the settings being turned off for noise. Now on a little bitty phone screen that is negligible, but when going to print will not work. Almost no amount of post processing will take it out without destroying the entire sky. The only option to print was to use a different sky with matching orientation. The Milky Way and Mars are almost exactly where they were in the original, and even the light pollution almost matches as well.
If you use a single camera body, always double check everything. And also remember to charge your batteries. •••••••••••••••••• #igtexas #hubs_united #wanderer #milkyway #firepit #earthpix #nightphotography #texas #igers #longexpoelite #withmytamron #nightscaper #night_excl #texastodo
