Fireplace 🖤 via @archdigest | For his full-floor residence in a historic Tribeca building, @partnersandspade ’s @mistersperduti drew inspiration from cinematography, Peggy Guggenheim's Venice home, and 1970s New York nightlife. “What excites me about a space is its clashing textures and patterns—interruptive moments, like that turquoise behind the fireplace, where it probably shouldn’t be,” he says, pointing across the room. “It’s an invader that has completely ruined what should have been harmonious—and that, to me, is exciting.” | The custom wall treatment is by @studiopatricktownsend and the tiles are from @annsacks. The sculptural French 1930s andirons were found on @1stdibs . The vase on the mantle is by Los Angeles ceramicist @adamsilvermanstudio , while the ceramic bust Untitled No. 22, 2016, is by @jenniejieunlee.
