Just our little family. Sometimes it is easy to disdain the small things that make up a family. The daily shoulder rubbing, the shared tasks and spaces, the fellowship at suppertime that can so quickly deteriorate into arguments, the knowing each other like nobody else... Yet it is our siblings that teach us how to relate to others in life, with the constant help of our parents, of course. I'm glad my parents were faithful to their task, and I tell my children, "These people who get on your nerves?.. they'll be your best friends for life. So just stop fighting, ok?"
