▪️Top single of the day at 184kg/405lbs. Still figuring out how to attack these heavier weights. Descended way too fast and lost tension in the hole. I’m happy that I was still able to stand this up relatively easily even though it looked harder than it was. 4 plates is no longer intimidating. Back off singles at 365lbs working technique. Just another day. Work harder.

195/429x8x3 cluster deads. Last shown, first two sets were hook and the rest were strapped. I am fatigued af and don’t think I’ve pushed deads like this before from a volume standpoint. Hopefully it translates to some serious strength gains for a meet prep cycle. Followed this up with 130/286x3x12 tempo RDLs.

Progress should not always be measured by weight on the bar. After missing depth on my 3rd squat and getting sniped on my third deadlift lockout at my last meet, I was absolutely gutted. The only thing that didn’t go as expected this meet were my deadlifts. First time pulling sumo on the platform threw me off .. causing me to have balance issues on my attempts. They gave me my third attempt cause I fell back after she said the down command. Squats came out amazing, blowing up my 3rd attempt with the same weight that I missed in prep two weeks ago. My back was tight af during bench but was able to get 308 up with wayyyyy more left in the tank. But either way managed to take 1st place. As always huge thanks to my coach @rahman___noodles and EVERYONE who drive hours to watch me compete .. most of the people I hang around couldn’t even text me a goodluck lol. Anyways amazing meet, I had the funest of times. And I can’t wait to compete again 👀
