Trying to get my gaze focused and upward to improve consistency and to avoid returning to my default set-up of eyes on my shoes, loose lats, rounded upper back that pretty much guarantees a miss. One of the big things that messed me up a bit at #baystategames was not knowing where to look and then either looking down at my feet or locking eyes with the center ref 🤦♀️ so working on this should be a game changer for the next meet! Still rushing things, but there's always more to work on.
Also, HUGE win here was continuing onward after several consecutive misses at 47. Identifying issues and addressing them objectively left open the opportunity to build up to 51 (and with no more misses after those dang 47s!). Not all sessions are this positive, but I'm trying to do what is in my power to make more like this, rather than letting myself tap out for the day with an "I suck, snatches suck, wahh wahh wahh" unproductive thought spiral.
