A woman messaged me yesterday & asked how I seemed so happy yet I was alone.
🐱 Pete said it was because of him. 😂
She struggled feeling “happy” not being in a relationship. We both talked about our disordered eating past, special diet needs (she has IBS) & how it’s easy to slip into the “why me” mentality.
I told her, I’m happy because I’m finally whole. Another person doesn’t make you whole. We’re here to find the relationships that compliment our wholeness & light us up.
The 1st relationship you need to work on is with yourself. And make sure you are being that person for your soulmate.
I shared with her a letter I wrote in my journal to my soulmate. I’ll share again with you:
